"Take care Takemichi. I'll call you when it's time to take some action"

"I will Senju-kun. Please be careful on your way home"

"Well, I could always kick their asses you know! Bye!"

Senju left with a wave and Takemichi looked at his phone to check the time.

7:50 PM

Sighing to himself, he began to take a walk on their meeting place by the river. A certain person tailing him from behind stealthily, unknown to Takemichi as he continued walking mindlessly.

...

"I'm glad you showed up. I thought you'll ignore my request in the first place considering that we're not that close even back then when you joined Toman for a short time"

Takemichi greeted the man who arrived perfectly on time, a sly smirk on his face. His eyes glimmering in amusement as he stuck his tongue out. His hair was still styled in a deathawk style and so were his eyes that still held mischief in them. Who would've thought that the Hanagaki Takemichi, Toman's heart, had called him at the most unexpected moment, asking for the most unexpected thing but in the end, he still complied because of reasons only he knew.

"So you came back here just to finally leave Toman huh? What have you gotten yourself involved with Hanagaki? This ain't just some delinquent shit. The information you wanted to confirm nearly got my men killed you know"

He stated with seriousness. Waving a brown envelope in his right hand before handing it to Takemichi.

"That gang is the real deal. Not only that Black Mamba sells their violence and drugs but they also kill people for money. They're a little hard to snuff out but I've managed to gain enough information for your request"

"I'm sorry for giving you a hard time.......Koko-kun"

Hajime Kokonoi chuckled, looking at Takemichi with sly eyes. Certainly, the Hanagaki Takemichi, famed as the crybaby hero was nowhere near this teenage boy in front of him. He may not know Takemichi that deep but he could tell that the crybaby had changed. Standing in front of him is a man with withering emotions. He did begin to admire him back when Toman and Tenjiku fought, he understood why Inui decided to give his life to the crybaby. Takemichi's will is stronger than any of them, albeit the lack of strength, he always stood his ground. He cared and was willing to fight for Koko when Mucho had threatened his and Inui's life for Koko's cooperation with Tenjiku. He opened Inui's eyes, Inui Seishu, his only best friend and a person special to him had entrusted his life to Takemichi. He didn't like it at first, but after the fight, he understood why a lot of people looked at Takemichi in a different light. He's a person worthy of admiration. Guess you could include him in that circle but Takemichi didn't need to know that.

"I've heard that you joined Brahman. Planning to take on that gang with them?"

"No, I didn't. I'm only cooperating with them in the meantime. I hope you won't tell anyone about this. I don't plan on having anyone from Toman know about this. I know you are aware of how dangerous this is Koko-kun. It's not something that can be solved with fistfights"

"Then why are you involving yourself Hanagaki? You know they can kill anyone in their way. Or you don't care do you?"

He questioned in curiosity. He did remember Takemichi being a suicidal maniac when he tried to challenge Izana, stubbornly standing up, not caring if he ended up dead with Izana's beatings. It was the same with Mucho too if Koko didn't agree with joining Tenjiku then who knows maybe Takemichi and Inui would be dead by then considering how the two were willing to give up their life for a mischief like Koko .
