Chapter 2 - The Truth Behind The Kiss

You were currently driving really fast without going to any particular destination. The image of Jimin and that girl kissing kept on coming in front of your eyes. You don't know why but you felt betrayed. You yourself don't know why you were feeling like this but you can't help it. You were not crying, you were not furious but you were hurt. It was hard for you to imagine Jimin with someone else. Your thoughts took over your mind as it became hard for you to focus on the road. You took a sharp turn and parked your car at a random parking spot. You take your medicines and started taking deep breaths trying to calm down.

*After 2 hours*

You were now in a lot better position than before. Thinking for over 2 hours helped you to realize what you were doing. You were noone to Jimin and had no right to be mad at him. He can be with anyone he wants to. You didn't even know whether he was single or not. Also, you were still confused as to why you were feeling this way. You were sure you couldn't fall in love with anyone so these feelings just made you more confuse.

*later that night*

You were on a call with Taehyung.

Taehyung: But why can't you live with me Y/n.. What is wrong in it?

You: I can't risk it booksie. You know I am a public figure. If people see me going in your house at night, they won't stop bothering you even when I am gone.

Taehyung: It won't be a problem Y/n I promise.

You: Forget it Taehyung.

Taehyung sighs as he knows you won't listen to him.

You: I am tired booksie. I'll talk to you later.

You were about to hung up when you heard Bella speaking on the other side of the phone.

Bella: Make sure that girl is not seen around my company anymore. She has already been a huge headache to me and my secretory.

As soon as you heard the word "secretory" you put the phone back to your ear.

Taehyung: Is she again disturbing Jimin?

Bella: Yeah.

Taehyung: Poor him. He doesn't even have anything to do with all of this and still suffering.

Bella: I know... I don't get it as to why she thinks that doing such weird things with Jimin would make him tell her about my work. You know she literally crossed limits today. She didn't try to make him fall for her by her beauty or words. She literally just grabbed his collar and kissed him.

And then it hit you. When you saw Jimin and that girl kissing, he was not kissing her, she was kissing him and that too just to take out some information about Bella's company.

You hung up the call once you heard Taehyung saying "How about I do that to you now".

Unknowingly a huge smile spread on your face thinking Jimin was not in a relationship with that girl but you still didn't know whether he was single or not.

You were deep in your thoughts when you fall asleep.

*NEXT DAY*

You woke up at 6:30 in the morning feeling the headache.

"It might be because of the stress yesterday" you thought. You took a warm bath feeling your headache getting better.

You were now laying down on your hotel bed in a bathrobe relaxing yourself as an idea popped into your mind. You looked at the time.

7:45 am

You smiled as you got up and got ready to head to Bella's company.

TIME SKIP

It was 8:55 am as you parked the car near Bella's company from where you can see all the employees entering the company.

You wished that Jimin has still not arrived.

8:58 am

You saw Jimin going inside the company as you hurriedly came out of your car and rushed towards him.

"JIMIN' you shouted.

He turned around as you just stopped in front of him.

You: Hey!

jimin: Oh aren't you the one who bumped into me yesterday?

You: Yeah that's me.

Jimin: What do you want?

You: I was just asking if you are free today evening?

jimin: Why?

You: No-nothing... I just wanna know if we could meet today evening?

Jimin: And why do you want to meet me?

You: You will get to know when you will meet me.

jimin: I am not interested.

He said and started walking away.

You: Hey!!

You hold his hand

Jimin: *raises an eyebrow*

You let go of his hand.

You: Come for 15 mins. I won't take more than that.

jimin: And why should I waste 15 minutes of my life for a girl like you?

You: Excuse me? What do you mean by "for a girl like you"?

Jimin: I mean for a mannerless girl like you who is forcing a random guy to take him on a date just because you saw him going inside a huge company and hoping he would be rich.

You: What the heck?! When did I say that I am taking you on a date??

Jimin: So you are not taking me on a date?

You: No.

Jimin: Then why?

You: Because I...

But you were left speechless. How do you answer him when you yourself don't know why you wanted to meet and talk to him.

Jimin:*raises an eyebrow* Because you... what?

You: *smirks* Because I have a business proposal.

Jimin: *tilts head cutely* What business proposal?

You: You will get to know when you will meet me.

Jimin: *rolls his eyes in annoyance* Fine!

You: Alright then.. I will pick you up at 5 from here.

You said and turned around.

Jimin: *in mind* How did she know that I will be free at 5?

You: *shouting* The 15 minute deal is cancelled now.

Jimin: Huh?!
