Chapter 4 - The Meeting

At night

JIMIN POV

I sighed for the 5th time remembering what happened in the restaurant.

FLASHBACK

You: uhm.. Alright I will come straight to the point. I am thinking of setting up an IT company for which I need good employees. I want to know if you know the work of a CEO too...If you are good at it I might offer you to become CEO of my company.

Jimin became silent after that.

You: Well think about it.. I'll go to the restroom.

Jimin: *thinking* what should I do? I really need money right now but this could be a trap also. But how will I know if I don't try? Aghhh!!

It was not because he was money minded but because right now he needed money a lot for his father. If becoming a CEO will increase his salary then his father won't need to work ignoring his own health. However, on the other hand doing that would mean betraying Mrs. Kim because he still don't know whether you are saying the truth or not. It might be a trap to take out information about Mrs. Kim's business which he couldn't risk.

I was deep in thought when an idea popped into my mind.

You: Well I am a youtuber.

He smirked as he remembered that. He took out his phone and typed on google search bar.

JUNG Y/N

"Dude she said she is a youtuber as if she is not that known but she is literally everywhere."

THE JUNG SIBLINGS TO REACH THE HEIGHTS OF SUCCESS IN THEIR CAREER.

JUNG Y/N TO SECURE HER POSITION AMONG THE TOP YOUTUBERS OF THE WORLD.

My eyes almost popped out seeing the headings.

"Well I must say there is nothing about her behavior that shows she is a celebrity. She is quite humble about herself."

However no matter how much he searched, there was no news of you opening a new business. He also saw that your father was a businessman so he thought there was no point in you opening a new company.

Jimin: *sighs* This is a trap.

He frustratingly took a napkin, wrote on it and left without turning around once.

PRESENT TIME

Jimin: After seeing her on articles, I didn't expect her to be a dishonest person. How disappointing...*sigh*

Y/N POV

I sat on my bed after doing my night routine.

I know you are lying about your offer Ms. Jung so it would be better if you don't contact me again.

-Jimin

Well... Who is listening to you Mr. Park? But.. How did he got to know that?!

I know I made an excuse just to know.... Or to be more precisely... to spend more time with him but how in the world did he know that I was lying?

You are very professional and won't hire a person just because he is on a good post in other company or just because you want to be with him. It was just an excuse made by you so that he will agree on meeting you since you were dying to spend some time with him.

You: Well I have a meeting tomorrow with the TITs so it's better if I don't stress myself out. I don't want this meeting to be postponed just because of my stupid unknown feelings towards a guy.

After taking your medicines

You:*sigh* Good night Ms. Jung.

You lay down and slowly drifted to sleep.

NEXT DAY

12 am

You: Good morning!!

You greeted the old man who was about your father's age.

??: Good morning Ms. Jung.

You: How is your health now?

??: I am fine.

You: That's good to know*smile*

??: Let's have a seat.

After 1 hour

You were currently talking to the old man who was the owner of TITs company discussing about all the partnership terms and conditions. The meeting actually went well and your brother helped a lot who was on a video call throughout the time. 

??: I must say Ms. Jung, you have made quite a good app at such a young age. Making a social media app is not that easy even for a team but you managed to do that alone.

You: Thank you sir *smile*

??: Can I ask you something?

You: Sure.

??: You are already such a big celebrity then why do you need to enter the business line? It might even affect your career as a youtuber.

You: *smile* That's because it was my first dream career sir, to write an app and launch it in the market. Technology have always been a great part of my life and I just wanted to be the medium through which people are able to communicate and tell their thoughts without being in physical contact. Being a youtuber was also something I aspired for and now that I have achieved it, I want to work on my first dream. I am doing this so that I don't have any regrets in future.

??: *smiles* You are a nice girl.

The way he said that you felt like he meant something else.. It was like he didn't say it clearly but it had some hidden meaning. You shrugged off your thoughts and concentrated on the meeting.

The meeting ended and you brought your hand in front of your new partner for a handshake however something unexpected happened....

The old man faints.
