Chapter 18

It has been 3 days since I broke up with Y/n and she has still not stopped bothering me. She has been spamming my phone with hundreds of calls and messages. I didn't go to the company ever since we broke up since I knew she would be present there and I don't want to even face her right now. She gave me the worst betrayal and I won't let myself fall in her trap again.

I was in the kitchen making breakfast for my Dad. Yes for my DAD, not for myself since I didn't feel like eating at all. My tears were now dried and my smile was gone. This is when I heard the bell ringing continuously and a loud banging on my front door.

Mr. Park: Who is it?

No response.

My father went and opened the door to find Y/n in a really bad condition standing outside. Her eyes and nose were red and puffy indicating she has been crying for hours and fresh tears were still visible in her eyes. She had big dark circles around her eyes. My heart ached seeing her like that but I couldn't let her know that.

Y/n: *shaky voice* Jimin-

Me: *stern voice* Leave Y/n.

Taehyung: Listen to her for once Jimin.

A man came into view from behind who I recognised as Mrs. Kim's husband.

Me: Mr. Kim?

Taehyung: Yes, it's me. Please Jimin listen to her for once.

Me: I don't trust her.

Y/n: But why Jimin? I told you everything and you still chose to believe him?!

Me: *scoffs* What did you ever told me Y/n? Nothing! You were always so secretive with me. You never told me anything about your past!

Y/n: I told you Jimin! I wrote you a letter and kept it in your file!

That's when I remembered the letter. But I still couldn't believe her. Daniel showed me their photos.

Me: Why should I believe that the letter is true?

Y/n: Why would you believe Daniel then?!

Jimin: Because he is my brother Y/n.

She became silent after that. She just stood frozen on her spot processing what I just told her.

Y/n: *calm tone* Do you believe me a bit? Will you please give me a chance to tell the real truth?

Me: No. I don't believe you. I won't give you a chance. I won't stay with you Y/n.

She nooded and turned around to leave.

Y/n: When you get to know the real truth, don't expect me to forgive you Jimin because it's already too late. You didn't trust me and that broke us apart. Remember that.

She said and left while Mr. Kim just kept on standing there.

Taehyung: You will regret it Jimin.

He said and left.

I couldn't stand there anymore as now I was not in a condition to do anything so I ran to my bedroom.

Mr. Park: You should have given her a chance Jimin...

This was the last thing I heard as I shut my door. I felt on my knees now feeling miserable.

I loved you Y/n.. Why did you do this with me?

I was crying non stop when my gaze fell on the file which had the letter. I knew I didn't trust her anymore but something in me still wanted to believe her. Unknowingly my legs made their way to the file as I opened it, took out the letter and started reading it.

Dear Jimin

I know that you have always been curious to know about my life, my decisions and the reasons behind those decisions. And I know it hurts you to know that I don't tell you everything.

The reason why I don't tell you is not because I don't trust you Jimin but because I am not in a condition to talk about it. Telling you about my past means having a flashback of everything I have gone through and I wasn't ready to have that.. But now I am. You know why? Because your love brought me out from my past. Anyway since you wanted to know everything, here is my past.....
