Chapter 14

JIMIN POV

The day was over and it was probably the best weekend of my life. I was never interested in relationships but I could never think that it could make me feel this good. Y/n was caring and soft hearted plus she was professional and this just made me fall harder for her. I always had the feeling that she liked me. Who won't? Her actions said it all but I never expected that I would fall back for her.

I was thinking about our first kiss and a shy smile spread on my face. That's when I heard my Dad.

Mr. Park: What's with that smile?

I immediately stopped smiling and looked at my father trying my best to look normal.

Jimin: No-nothing.

Mr. Park: Oh really? But I think that smile was special.

Jimin: No, not at all.

Mr. Park: Be honest son. Do you think you can hide something from me?

Jimin: N-no.

Mr. Park: Tell me now. What is that smile for?

Jimin: I just.. I just read a joke.

Mr. Park: Can you tell me that joke?

Jimin: Uhh sure... What will you say when Ele faints?

Mr. Park: ....

Jimin: Elephant *awkward laugh*

Mr. Park: Was it supposed to be funny?

Jimin: Y-yeah..

Mr. Park: *firmly* Tell me Jimin. What are you hiding from me?

Jimin: *sigh* Dad I-I..

Mr. Park: You...?

Jimin: Ihaveagirlfriend.

Mr.Park: What?!

Jimin: Y-yes.

Mr. Park: Break up with her.

Jimin: *widened eyes* What?! No!

Mr. Park: Yes. Do it.

Jimin: But why?!

Mr. Park: Because I already have a girl in mind for you.

Jimin: I am not leaving my girlfriend.

Mr. Park: Yes you are.

Jimin: No Dad.

Mr. Park: *sigh* Do you want me to take stress because of this?

I just remained silent.

Mr. Park: Look Jimin. The girl I thought of is perfect for you. And I am sure you also like her.

Jimin: How can I like her when I haven't seen her in my life?

Mr. Park: *smirk* Who said you never met her?

Jimin: *confused* huh?!

Mr. Park: I am talking about your business partner Jimin. Jung Y/n.

Jimin: *happy* Really?

Mr. Park: Of course. Why do you think I lied to you about your meeting with The Jeons? I made sure that you both spent time together so that you two could fall for each other.. Wait.. weren't you boiling in anger a second before and now you are.. Smiling?! I knew you would be liking her. But why did you make someone else your girlfriend when you like Y/n?

Jimin: Who said my girlfriend is someone else Dad?

Dad initially looked confused but soon a huge smile spread on his face as he realized what I was trying to say.

Mr. Park: Looks like our choice is similar.

Jimin: *shrugs* Like father like son.

Y/N POV

I came back home in probably the best mood ever. I never thought that I would ever fall in love with someone. I just couldn't risk it but I guess things don't always go the way you want them to and I am glad that it didn't go the way I wanted it to or else I would have never experienced this beautiful feeling. But I just hope that it don't go the way it went last time.

Well I must say that whatever people say about love being the best medicine is actually true.

I am no longer affected by my past. I don't have any depression. I am not pursuing a career I am not interested in anymore and most important, I fell in love.

I posted my last youtube video with a goodbye and thankyou message to all my fans. Even if I was never interested in being a youtuber, I still loved all of my fans. They have been a big part of my life. They are the reason I learned to smile again and I can never forget that.

After I did that, a message from Jimin popped up.

Good night. Sleep well.

I smiled and replied

You too.

This is when my phone started ringing and an unknown number popped up.

Who is this?.. Probably a fan.. Well I am too tired to talk to unknown people.

I just put the phone on silent and went to do my night routine.

IN THE MORNING

I looked at my phone after getting ready and saw that I had 7 missed calls from the same unknown number.

Is it something important? Should I call back? But I really want to meet Jimin. Uhh.. I will just call this person during the break.

I headed outside my apartment and upto my car when I saw someone leaning against it. His back was facing me and he looked a bit familiar.

I went towards my car and to that unknown yet familiar person.

You: Excuse me.

He just tilted his head to the side indicating me to continue. His face was still not visible to me though.

You: Umm.. It's my car. I need to go somewhere in it...

That is when the man finally turned around now facing me as I saw the most unexpected person in front of me.

??: Remember me sweetie?

I just stayed quiet while staring at him not believing my eyes.

??: You dared to ignore my calls last night hmm?

You: D-Daniel...

Daniel: *smiles* Yes sweetie, it's me. Did you miss your ex?

Oh no! Her ex is still here! I thought he is not gonna come again!

Y/n is all alone right now. Her brother also left thinking her ex won't be a problem. What now?
