Gross! Jayden picked up the fungus with his hands. We were in our science class. We had been put in a group to do an experiment. Our group was outside looking for fungus. We were the only group outside because our teacher trusted us. Some of us anyways...

There was Chantelle she was a close friend and had brown straight hair with greyish eyes that had a hint of blue. She was taller than me, I was quite small.

Also there was Scarlett. She had curly brown hair with blonde tips. I was jealous of her hair! Scarlett and I was about the same size.

Mia, she was quite a bit taller. She had black hair that she wore up in a pony tail. With dark brown eyes.

Jayden, one of the more annoying people I know. Taller than me, only just. Light hazel eyes. His eyes are amazing though! Brown short hair.

Eli, way too tall. He has green eyes. A soft, light green. Blonde/ brown hair.

Alexander. Smaller than me, just by a bit. Black hair. Grey eyes.

About 4/6 of them is my friends. Eli and Jayden weren't. But then again I didn't exactly hate them. Just didn't talk much. "Put that down!" Mia instructed them in disgust. Jayden just laughed. He held it up higher to Mia's face. Mia screamed and moved away. Jayden smirked and threw it down. "Oh grow up!" Scarlett snapped. Jayden's smile vanished and he rolled his eyes. "Maybe if you weren't as stubborn you would actually laugh at things", Jayden back chatted. Scarlett ignored it. "At least were not as immature as you", Mia said. Jayden picked a handful of the fungus and threw towards us. It had hit my skin. "Ew!" I remarked.

We all stepped back in repulsion. Eli hit Jayden in the arm as though to say 'that's enough!'. "Let's go back, the teacher will soon send someone out for us", Alexander instructed. I nodded at him in agreement. We all started to walk back to class. We made our way up to our science class. When we got up there, there was no noise. Like nothing...

We all exchanged worried glances. Jayden stepped in first. No one was there. "They're not here", he told us. I gave him a confused look and stepped inside with him. They were all gone. All the bags were left though. "Take your bags, let's go look for them", I instructed.

We searched outside for a while but we couldn't find them anywhere. "Check the office?" Eli suggested. "Yea", Scarlett agreed. We headed for the office and stood at the desk. We pressed the buzzer for them to come. "Have we missed something?" Alexander queried. No-one was at the office either. "NO SCHOOL!" Jayden shouted while he pumped his fists in the air. "Hardly", Chantelle mumbled. Jayden smirked and lowered his hands.

"Where do you think they've all gone?" Scarlett asked. "Not sure... Let's go check some rooms" I instructed. We walked along the corridor to the first room and knocked. No answer came. Impatiently, I opened the door. No-one. I pushed past everyone and went to the next class and did the same. I had no clue what to do, everyone was gone. Had something happened? "Emergency assembly!?" I thought out loud. They all stared at me. "Let's go then", Eli agreed, breaking the silence.

We silently made our way to the Assembly Theatre where we held assembly's. As I stepped inside, everyone else followed. To my surprise there was one person there. "Excuse me", I shouted. He turned around. His face was pale and eyes blood shot. His clothes had red stains on them. His hair a mess. When he started to walk towards us, he limped.

"Hey, Justin, you okay?" Jayden shouted, obviously knowing who this was. Justin didn't answer, he kept limping towards us. "Cut it out, where's everyone", Jayden instructed sharply. "He can't hear you", Eli whispered. "What do you mean? He's right there!" Jayden answered angrily pointing towards Justin. "Or maybe he doesn't understand you..." Chantelle spoke up. "Well, last time I checked he spoke English not freaking German or whatever", Jayden snapped. "Are you saying it's like the movie we watched the other day?" Scarlett asked Chantelle ignoring Jayden. "What movie? Shaun of the Dead?" Jayden joked. "Eh, no. Warm bodies..." Chantelle mumbled.
