Also there's a photo if you swipe to the left to see the petrol station it's based at.

We had driven for about an hour through the zombie infested towns. Already, we have driven past the house and collected the clothes. We needed to stop at a gas station soon. Plan was... Kill the zombies. Grab HEAPS of petrol canisters and fill them all to the top. Also load the bus full of food and other useful things. Didn't sound to bad.

"Janice, there's a shell station not that far ahead. Should I stop there", Jake called to me. I examined the station. 3 zombies near by. Open clear area. "Yea, okay. Where about are we?" I questioned. "Keith", he informed me. "Okay, small town. Not a lot of zombies. Here will be fine", I told him. He nodded his head and pulled into the station.

"Okay, quick. Dallas and Dakota, stay here on the look out. Jake, Eli and Alexander, get rid of the zombies. And Chantelle, Mia we go to get petrol canisters", I instructed quickly. They nodded in agreement. The three boys went out first with their weapons as my 3 snuck round to the shop. We crept past them and went into the shop. I held the bat high above my head, equipped for an attack.

We swooped the shop for any sign of zombies. None here. "There over here!" Mia called out. Chantelle and I made our way over to her. "There's 13 of them", she informed us. "Okay, Mia can you go get the boys to come help us out", I instructed. She nodded to me and walked out the store. I grabbed 3 canisters and took them out to the pump. I saw the zombies that they killed lying on the ground. They were people. And it's sad.

I took the lead out and filled the three canisters up. I tried to take two, but failed. The weight of them was really heavy. One by one I loaded them onto the bus. Once all 13 was on I turned and faced the group. "Food, grab lots, anything", I quickly ordered. Quickly, we all swarmed into the shop, grabbing as much as we could. I took crisps, juice, sweets. I quickly chucked them onto the seat. Then immediately went back to get some more.

I returned back to the bus with my arms full of food. I placed them down onto the same chair as the last one. "Is that everyone done?" I questioned. We all looked around at each other.
1...2...3...4...5...6...7...
"Who's missing?" I called out. "I think Chantelle headed to the bathroom" Mia told me. "She could've told someone", I sighed. I jumped off the bus. We could've left her here if I didn't count the people. I reached the bathroom and turned the handle.

I stepped inside and looked around. "Chantelle?" I shouted. No reply came. "Chantelle, I'm sorry for shouting at you earlier at the bus station. I just got emotional and all. It's my fault, but please come out", I apologised. Still no answer. I took a deep sigh and started to look in each stall. There was only 7. Slowly I opened each door cubicle. First one, nope. Second, no. Third, still no-one. Fourth, locked. I banged on the door. "Chantelle! Come on!" I shouted. "Ugh", I sighed. I bent down to the ground and looked at the bottom of the floor of the cubicle.

I gasped. "Shit! No! Chantelle!" I screamed. I quickly clambered to my feet and bashed into the door. It still was closed. I walked back. Quickly I ran and knocked the door open. I put my hand over the mouth. Chantelle was lying on the ground. Dead. Her weapon lying beside her, with blood. Blood everywhere. I knelt down beside her. I put two fingers up to her neck to search for a heartbeat. I stayed that way for 10 seconds until I decided that she was gone. No heartbeat. I stood up and ran to the bus. "Janice... What's wrong?" Dallas queried. "She's gone, she's dead", I whispered. "Where is she?" Dallas asked sternly. I quickly walked back the bathroom, with them all following me. I then led them to her body. "Oh my god", I heard Mia gasp. Tears started to fill my eyes as guilt started to fill inside me. Alexander bent down and picked up her knife lying beside her. I took a piece of toilet roll and wiped the knife clean. "Should we just leave the body?" Dakota suggested quietly. "I don't know what else we can do with it", I told her. "We could burn her?" Mia suggested while wiping her tears. Everyone looked around at each other. "We can't do that either, it's a petrol station", Jake told Mia apologetically. "Oh", she replied. Mia took another look down at Chantelle. Then she burst out crying.

Jake turned to her and pulled her into a hug. She rested her head onto his shoulder. He rode his hand and stroked her hair smoothly. "We'll have to leave", Eli pointed out. "Yea", I replied. I turned to the exit and left. I walked as fast as I could to the bus and clambered on. I slumped down into one of the front chairs. I faced the window and looked out.

Shortly after, out of the corner of my eye I saw Eli get on. I saw him look at me, which immediately made me look further away. I heard his footsteps coming closer and he sat down. "It wasn't anyone's fault", he told me. I looked at him quickly and examined his face. His eyes showed sorrow. I turned back to the window. I knew it was my fault. I pushed her. Jayden sacrificed himself for us and I made her feel as though it was all her fault. I pushed her to her limits and it ended up like this.

When the rest of the group got on, Jake started up the bus again and headed for Findhorn.

The ride was practically silent the whole way, until we came to Findhorn. Luckily, it was only 2 o'clock so it was light and we could see.

Findhorn is a small village with about 3 shops and 5 restaurants. The beach is massive and the house it literally opposite it. It also had a small play park round the corner. It looked really nice on sunny days. Although if it was snowing, it could get really cold. We're also very lucky as it just turned spring.

We arrived at our house. There was a garage round the back, but it's a bus we have, it won't exactly fit. I made my way to the door quickly with Dallas and Eli at either side of me. I took the key, which I had taken from home, and opened the door. I turned round and signalled for everyone else to follow.

My eye caught movement on the left of me, over the garden wall (which was really quite small). A zombie was heading towards us quickly. Reacting, I swung my bat back and went over to it. I sent my bat, full force into its head. It fell to the ground with a thump.

I turned back to the door, which held everyone inside. I looked left and right to see any zombies, or sign of people, but there was nothing. I walked inside and locked the door. I swivelled round and saw the group staring at me.

"There's 4 bedrooms and 7 of us. I was thinking we should partner up-" "yea and I'm sure we know who your going with!" Alexander laughed at me. I rolled my eyes and carried on. "So find a partner and I'll join a group of three. We can then use the spare bedroom for supplies", I informed them.
They looked around at each other choosing who to go with.

The groups ended up being:
- Dakota and Alexander (which surprised me)
- Mia and Jake (I saw that coming, left me with a boy)
- Dallas and Eli (I don't think they like the groups either)

Yeah, so not good group choices. Thanks a lot guys. I ended up however choosing the group with Eli, just because, well think about it. Sharing a group with Jake and Mia. Not the best idea, especially if your jakes sister. When we got the our bedrooms we chucked our stuff down on the floor. We all met back up down at the living room. "Today, I think we'll be okay with not boarding up the windows. Tomorrow however, we'll be doing that. The doors are also safe for tonight. We can cook some supper and have a bath maybe, cause who knows how long there will be water for", I told them. Their faces all seemed to lighten up when I said supper.

I made supper for them, which was noodles (I found a pack in the cupboard). Most of us got a bath, including me (*flicks hair dramatically*). Then we went upstairs the the bedroom. We slept awkwardly heads and tails, with Dallas at the same side as me. Soon, I fell asleep. Today, was the worst day I've ever had. Worse than my birthday when I got totally embarrassed by my mum for making the waiters sing happy birthday to me, while a cute guy was watching. But like seriously, I've lost so much today. I just hate the new world, hate it.
