Chapter 2

Klaus threw a chair at the wall, angry again that he lost his lead on his wife

He has been searching for her for 400 years but he was never able to find her because every time he got close she fled far away before he got to her

He sat on the couch that was behind him and put his head in his right hand sighing angrily

He didn't want to lose Talia's trial but he had to go to Mystic Falls for the doppelganger so he got up and sped to where his witch was getting ready to put him into the body of Alaric

Maddox started the spell and once he finished Klaus saw black and when he opened his eyes again he was in the body of Alaric Saltzman

*After he kidnapped Katherine and she told him all the news in Mystic Falls*

"Anything else you need to tell me," Klaric asked Katherine

"Well Alaric made a new buddy" Katherine said with a smirk

"What is their name," Klaric asked

"Oh I am sure you already know who she is," Katherine said

"Who is she, Katerina?" Klaric said walking closer to Katherine

"The new buddy is ....... Talia Mikaelson" Katherine said and Klaric froze she was here and friends with Alaric

He left the apartment and made plans to get Talia to talk about him, about the real him

He wanted to know if she still loved him, He had finally got her to love him and he cheated on her and she forgave him but then he ruined it after he tried to dagger her 100 years after Katherine got away from him

*After school*

"Alaric, want to go drink?" Damon asked

Klaric shook his head "No, I am trying to find Talia"

"Since when do you call her Talia?" Damon asked

Klaric froze, Katherine didn't tell him what Alaric called his wife

"Nevermind but your lover is already at the grill," Damon said

Klaric glared at Damon as he said that, what exact relationship did Alaric and his wife have

Klaric followed Damon into the grill and he saw his wife walking over to them

"Dames and Ric finally you are here," Talia said

"Of course we are Tally," Damon said, she smiled and kissed his cheek while going over to Klaric

"Hey Ric" Talia said

"Hey Tally," Klaric said and she smiled and hugged him and he hugged back lovely having her in his arms even when they aren't exactly his arms

She pulled back and kissed his cheek then walked away over to where he saw his brother

"Talia I still don't know why you won't help us keep Elena safe" Elijah said and Talia sighed

"You know why Elijah, she is the exact copy of my sister and Katherine and we all know how I feel about Katherine, I am not wasting my time on someone who will just come back in another what 500 years," Talia said

Elijah and Damon sighed but understood

Klaric was the only one who noticed how Elijah looked at Talia when she mentioned Tatia, He knew he felt guilty about killing her

Both Elijah and he knew that if Talia found out she would hate them both, Elijah for killing her and Klaus for keeping it from her

Only the two knew about Elijah killing Tatia and Klaus wished Elijah never told him but he can't change the past

If he could he wouldn't waste his time chasing after Tatia and would go straight to Talia

*Flashback*

Niklaus turned over in his bed and saw his new wife laying next to him but she was facing the other way and made a lot of space between the two

They both were fully clothed, He sighed as he wanted to move closer to her and hold her as she slept but he knew she wouldn't like it

The only reason they were laying in the same bed was that her father took the bed out of the other room since he knew of Talia sleeping in there instead of with her husband

He got out of bed and made breakfast for Talia before she woke but what he didn't know was that she was awake before he was but she felt him waking up so she pretends to be asleep until he left the room

"Goodmorning Talia" Niklaus said and she said good morning back and ate her breakfast not saying anything the entire time "I am going to spend the day with my sister," Talia said leaving the room and getting into her clothes leaving the cottage without saying another word to Niklaus

He looked at her seat with sad eyes knowing it was going to be hard to get her to realize he loved her

During their wedding they were close but after the wedding, she got distant again and he didn't know how to get her close again

"Brother she doesn't even let me hold her at night, I don't know what I am supposed to do," Niklaus told Elijah

"I am not sure but Tatia told me that it will take a lot of time because Talia only knew you as the man who loved her sister and the brother of her best friend," Elijah said and Niklaus nodded

"I understand that Elijah but she is my wife and I want to treat her as my wife but she doesn't let me"

They walked together and saw Talia, Tatia, and Rebekah dancing in the garden

"Our lovers and dear sister dancing together," Niklaus said and Elijah smiled at him

"Maybe you can get Rebekah to get Talia to speak to you" Elijah suggested and Niklaus nodded

*Flashback Over*

Klaric sighed as he remembered that day right after Talia saw the two staring and they shared a long gaze at each other and Talia finally talked to him that night but it wasn't any special just her telling him to stop staring at her and she went to bed without another word

He was upset with himself because he gave up on her after a while when they were still human was when he first cheated but no one knew except him, and without him knowing also Mikael

Mikael wanted to tell Talia and her father but he stopped himself from doing so and now regrets that he didn't say anything
