Chapter 5

Esther sighed as she saw her eldest son walk in with an unconscious Talia

"I might hate this but it must be done, I am so sorry Talia," Esther said as she did the spell that would make her start waking up and had Finn put her in Klaus' room while he was showering

Talia started walking up and looking around and noticed that she was in a room that didn't look familiar to her

"Talia?" Klaus said confused as he walked out of the bathroom in only a towel that was held around his waist

"Klaus, why am I here?" Talia asked as she felt her head not knowing how she got there

"I don't know, I didn't bring you here, I promise," Klaus said

She looked away once she saw he was pretty much naked and he took the chance to change into his clothes

He sat on the bed as far away as possible not wanting her to scream at him

"Talia, can we talk since you are here?" Klaus asked she sighed

"The last time you asked that I gave you my answer and you snapped my neck then daggered me," Talia said looking at her hands

Klaus looked down "Luv, I was hurt by your words and I knew that if I let you go that I would never see you again so I daggered you then daggered Elijah so he wouldn't be able to wake you" Klaus said

Talia shook her head "You have to understand luv that I couldn't lose you again, I know I hurt you when I cheated with Aurora, but you hurt me when you slept with Lucien before I slept with Aurora and that is why I slept with Aurora I was hurt and she was there" Klaus said and he noticed how she looked at him when he mentioned Lucien like she didn't want him to know about that "um after you left the ball, Rebekah told me, she had figured that I deserved to know the truth" Klaus said

She nodded "I slept with Lucien because he was someone knew, he didn't know my sister, he only knew me, he met me and not her, He wasn't you, he wasn't the man I was forced to marry right after my sister chose Elijah instead of you, I always thought what if Tatia did choose you then would I have been forced to marry Elijah, or would I have been free, maybe I would be able to marry someone who loved me and not my sister," Talia said

Klaus looked at her with sad eyes as she continued "So I distanced myself because if Tatia chose you then we wouldn't have been married, you would have been with the girl you wanted to be with, and before we were turned I had finally decided to talk to you and to be your wife but then your parents turned me and Esther killed my sister, and I thought that wouldn't have happened if I wasn't married to you" Talia said and Klaus winced hearing her say Esther killed Tatia

"Tatia was never the girl I wanted, I only went after her because I wanted to hurt Elijah, He had made me upset the night we met Tatia but after I had met you, I was in love with you but I could never find the right time to tell you, and Rebekah told me that you only thought of me as the boy who was in love with Tatia and then she chose Elijah and I was free, the night she chose him I was going to tell you that I loved you but Mikael had made me come home and that is when they told me that I was going to marry you, so I took that as my opportunity to be with you but then you never spoke to me and it hurt so much that one night when you were sleeping I snuck out the cottage and found a village girl and that is when I first cheated on you when I woke up afterward I regretted it terribly and I went home and you were already gone so I went to see my mother and that was the night we were turned," Klaus said and he saw Talia with tears in her eyes

It wasn't because of him sleeping with another woman because at the time she never cared if he were to or not, it was because he said that he was in love with her and she was too blind to see it

He stared at her as she moved across the bed to him and once she got in front of him she kissed him

Klaus was in shock but immediately kissed her back

This was their first kiss together

He laid her down on the bed as their kiss got more intense

That night was the first time the two slept together and how they both wished they had done it together sooner
