The furry's fourteenth birthday! Woo!

It was the boy's fourteenth birthday. Fundy should be excited about his birthday. But he isn't. I mean, he absolutely loved the gifts his father had gotten him, mostly objects that would help the fox feel more masculine. Everything was going great, it really was. It's just that his Aunt Y/N wasn't here to celebrate his birthday. She had planned to teach him how to sail for his fourteenth. As well as fishing but when this was all planned out years back, Y/N didn't know how that idea would sit with him. Especially considering who Fundy's mother was. It hurt Fundy that his Aunt Y/N had planned so much for the life ahead and then it was taken away unfairly. Maybe it was bit of a selfish feeling as well because his Aunt Y/N had promised to be a big part of his life and then never got to fulfill that promise. His Aunt Y/N had been the only stable female figure in his life and now she was gone. He remembers all the times he was younger when he would try to run away to his aunt's house because he didn't want to be bothered by his father. It hurt when he would look at reality and see that there would be no more times like that. No more times where his father would scold him for running to Y/N's house while she was cackling in the background. There would be no more times that would involve his aunt and it hurt him. When his father called him down for dinner, Fundy reluctantly went downstairs. He was a bit shocked to see his Uncle Techno and Grandpa Phil but upon remembering it was his birthday, the confusion was quickly thrown out the window. Fundy sat down at the dining table and waited for everyone else to sit down. He was a bit surprised when his dad placed a box on the table in front of him.

"Another gift? I thought I had already gotten all of my gifts?"

Wilbur sighed, looking at Fundy. Now that Fundy looked at all their faces, it seemed as they had all been crying not too long ago.

"It was a last minute gift from Foolish. Kinda. He was looking through one of the closets at... his house. He found this box. It's something your Aunt Y/N had made for you before... you know..."

Fundy looked at the box in front of him, tears welling up in his eyes. Aunt Y/N had made something for him before her untimely death? One of the last things that she had ever done in her life was make something for him? It hurt him. He gently opened the box in case the item inside it was fragile. He would despise himself if he broke something from his aunt. He almost started sobbing when he saw what was in the box. A black leather jacket. One that ever so slightly shorter sleeves than a normal leather jacket, a silver zipper adorned the front middle of the jacket, little iron studs were placed around the neck and cuffs of the jacket, and a circle was on the jacket, stripes of a pastel blue, pastel red, and pastel yellow were inside the circle. It was almost exactly like the jacket his aunt had made for him when he was a kid. That was the purpose of this jacket. It was supposed to be like an adult version of his old jacket, that way he never truly grew out of his jacket. He grabbed the jacket gently and shoved his face into it. This might be the last piece of his aunt he has. And he was going to make sure he had it with him forever.
