New L'Manberg was blown to smithereens, just like last time. Everyone was hurt. Tommy was hurt that his uncle Techno and grandpa Phil helped blow up the nation. Everyone had come to a silent agreement. They had decided that it was probably for the best if they didn't create another nation. It had caused too many problems. Problems that wouldn't exist if there were no government.
Everyone was injured. Tommy was just glad he had not truly seen any red strings of death. Though, he hugged Tubbo as close as he could. Both him and his brother were injured to the point of they should be dead. He guesses that it was kinda funny when he got struck by lightning.
But that day, when everyone banded together to sing the anthem one last time, Tommy decided something. He needed to get his discs back. And he needed to make Dream pay for what he's done.
Tubbo cried as he hugged Tommy, trying to get a grip on reality. He couldn't believe what had happened. Him and Tommy had practically died. He didn't know when he had passed out, but he had. And it was strange what he saw. He saw a woman, her hair was [H/C] while her eyes were [E/C]. Tubbo felt like the woman was familiar. That's when he noticed her wings. Her wings that looked exactly like Tommy's. Could this possibly be the woman he made himself hate his entire life? The woman he was supposed to call mom but instead she had left him and Tommy? The woman opened her arms, seemingly asking for a hug. And, no matter how much hate he had grown towards the woman, he ran towards her and enveloped himself in her hug. He could feel tears running down his face. He hadn't realized how much he missed his mother, no matter how much he had forced himself to hate her.
Tommy stared at his now sleeping brother. He didn't understand why his brother was both smiling and crying. He would have to ask Tubbo about it later.
But for now, Tommy could relax for a bit. He could let Ghostbur try and comfort him, no matter how much it hurt.
