Chapter 31
∙ "y/n!" i heard. i sighed and turned around. i saw suna. i sighed again.
"what" i turned around.
"what's with the cold act?" he nudged my shoulder.
"why are you so happy" i asked.
"nothing really" he smiled at me. weirdo. i flicked his forehead.
"stop smiling at me, i might get the wrong idea. wait no. PEOPLE might get the wrong idea" i said turning my head.
"hm okay" he sighed a little "you've been cold to me lately, wanna talk about it?"
"no" i said coldly
"alright then" he sighed. i was still pissed off, i just don't understand why he's with someone like that, it makes me mad.
"i'm going to go this way" i pointed the short way.
"o-oh okay" he nodded. i left the other way and went to school. i sighed. i was mad but not mad y'know?
"wait suna" i sighed. i turned around and saw he was still standing where he was. i deadpanned and walked over to him. i kicked his leg and started to walk the long way. "come on, let's go to school"
"sure" he nodded. he was being oddly quiet. i sighed.
"you're making it awkward, what do you want to talk about?" i asked
"i don't know" he shrugged "like why are you being cold me"
"i don't know. maybe because you're dating a manipulative, cheating selfish lunatic and you should break up with her because she's toxic and you don't deserve that" i talked quite fast.
"oh. you know about that?" he looked away.
"yea i do, why? why do you put up with it"
"i don't know because i feel bad if i just leave her"
"leave her" i looked at him.
"what?" he was caught off guard
"just leave, don't feel bad, feel bad for yourself instead"
"but how do i break up with her?"
"you find that out for yourself, i can't help with that"
"hm" he nodded. we arrived to the school and we parted ways, i went to the classroom while he left to the school gym. we didn't really say anything after. the whole day was just silent between the four of us. i didn't say anything to them.
"y/n?" i heard. i turned my head and saw one of my male classmates for science. i looked at him. right now was just break time for all classes. i was still seated in my seat on my phone. the boys were still on their seats chatting.
"hm?" i looked at him.
"can we talk?" he asked
"sure" i got up and followed him outside of the class. i closed the door a little and looked up at him. "yes?"
"i was wondering..." his face turned red and he got flustered a little. "if you wanted to go out with...me?"
"maybe" i looked at him. i said it automatically. i mean i wasn't really a fan of dating but who knows. he looked shocked and handed me a letter.
"here" he said and handed me a bracelet as well. "it's a good luck bracelet"
"thank you" i smiled a little and put it on. he smiled back and walked off. i waved by a little and walked back to my seat. i had a blank expression on my face as always and just sat down.
"what was that?" yutō sat next to me and took my wrist "you don't usually say maybe to those things or take or wear things around your neck or wrists"
"i don't know, maybe, what if i might find interest in him who knows" i shrugged my shoulders and put on of my hands in my desk. i pulled out a whole stack of papers and then another stack, then another.
"w-what- is that-" yutō looked shocked
"my collection of love letters i got this week" i sighed
"that's a lot- more then atsumu could get a week" yutō coughed.
"it's not a competition" i sighed and counted the love letters and piled them up by color. i opened the first one and read it, then the next, the all the ones after it with my time. i tried not to laugh at some of them but i kept on reading.
to be honest, in the middle of reading all the love letters i ended up falling asleep as soon as class started.
