- Reality Bites Me
A shrill ringing woke the five best friends up the next morning, earning a groan from each teenager who were sleep-deprived, " who's bloody phone is that?" Aria questioned groggily as she pulled one of Spencer's pillows over her head in attempt to block out the noise as last night, the four girls decided to stay over at Spencer's after A had broken into her house and left a message on her mirror and seeing as they stayed up half of the night still freaked out that this A person had now decided to start breaking into their homes the girls decided it was best for them to have a sleep over.
"Yeah, I think it's mine. Might be my mom" Aurora replied tiredly wincing at the shrill tone of her ringtone as she turned over on the bed attempting to go back to sleep knowing her mother would be ringing her seeing as she didn't come back the night before but had texted her that she was staying at Spencer's but before she could go back to sleep Hanna pushed the brunette out of the bed causing her to land on the floor with a groan and she hissed, " go away" she spoke in a clipped tone before snuggling back into the covers not wanting to leave the bed so early in the morning.
Aurora huffed in annoyance, glaring at her four friends who had made themselves comfy once again smiling innocently down at their best friend who rolled her eyes before deciding to answer her phone not looking who was ringing her, " Hello?" Emily shushed the brunette as she lifted her head up narrowing her eyes at her best friend along with Spencer, Aria and Hanna who only rolled her eyes, " hello? Who is this?" Riley raised her brows at her friends who immediately sat up looking at the brunette warily but frowned when the person on the other side hung up on the phone.
Hanna groaned as she leaned against the headboard looking at Aurora with wide eyes and inquired, " who was that? Wait, was it A?" Spencer and Emily turned their attention to Aurora who shrugged her shoulders and responded, " I don't know, it was an unknown number. I wouldn't put it past he or she I mean they broke into Spencer's I'm not surprised what they'll do to get what they want anymore"
Spencer nodded her head in agreement as the five girls climbed out of bed and made their downstairs for some coffee to wake them up when Aria worriedly glanced at her friends and informed," A sent this letter to my mom" holding up a letter to show her friend that told Aria's mom that Brian had been cheating on her and that Aria had been covering up for him. Aurora sent a sympathetic look to the small brunette knowing how hard this must be for her as Emily spun around on the stool she was sat on to face Aria and told her, "You know it's not your fault, right? It's your dad's mistake, totally"
"No, it's my fault" Aria insisted shaking her head with a saddened look on her face causing Spencer to halt in her movements as she turned her gaze to the brunette and firmly told her, " you did not hook up with her and then ask your kid to cover for you" Spencer then passed the cheese spread to Aurora who then started putting it on her own bagel as she glanced up at Aria and spoke, " Spence is right, you may have been apart of keeping it a secret but it was your dad's decision to start getting cosy with his student"
