The next morning, Aurora had received a phone call from Emily mother, Pam Fields informing her and the rest of the girls that Emily was in the hospital and had just gotten released after getting stitches which is why as soon as Aurora was aware that Emily was okay and that Toby didn't harm her she didn't waste any time in rushing over to her friends house to make sure she was alright. Aurora was sat on the edge of Emily bed beside Aria as Spencer who was standing on the other side of the room explaining what the four girls had found out about Toby and Jenna.
" it was all in his shrinks file. Toby and Jenna had a relationship" Aria explained to Emily who was sat in her bed with a bandage on her head as Spencer raised her brows from where she's leaning against the dresser table and added in, "Way beyond step siblings" Emily eyes widened as she glanced over at Aurora silently asking if it was true, " Yeah, it's true. They were involved with each other" Emily frown deepened as she looked between the three girls and questioned, "romantically?"
"I doubt I would call it romantic. She didn't have much of a choice" Spencer resorted with a shrug of her shoulders as Aria let out a sigh with a shake of her head and added in, " and that is what Alison saw when she threw the stink bomb" Spencer nodded her head in agreement as she looked between her three friends, " Yeah, and she threatened to expose Toby which is probably why he wanted her dead"
Aria had a sympathetic look on her face knowing how much Emily was starting to like Toby, " and not just her, us. You" Aurora sighed pushing a strand of her hair behind her ear, " it's looks bad I know. But before we start accusing people of murdering Ally we need actual evidence. I don't trust Jenna as far as i could throw her something not adding up here" Spencer had a disbelief look on her face as she looked between Aurora and Emily and questioned, " you still don't believe us?"
" I do, I just don't get it" Emily trailed off with a confused look on her face, " If Toby killed Alison and wanted to do the same to me, then why am I sitting on my bed and not a bodybag?" Aurora licked her lips with a thoughtful expression on her face as Emily did have a point before she changed the subject and asked, " So what did you tell your mother? I doubt she was happy with you going to the dance with Toby?"
Emily sighed looking down at her hands and informed, " I told the police that when I went out for air, I tripped" Aurora raised her brows letting out a scoff in disbelief, " Yeah, because that's totally believable" Aria nodded her head in agreement with the brunette and asked, "Why didn't you just tell them he attacked you?" Emily shrugged her shoulders looking up at her friends and told them, "I didn't wanna say anything until I had talked to you guys first"
"Well, the truth is in the file. You can tell them everything now." Spencer pointed out only for Aurora to shake her head turning around to face her and protested, "She can't tell them everything. You have to leave out the file." Spencer sighed in defeat looking between Aurora and Emily and muttered, "Fine, leave out the file" Hanna came walking into the room taking out the file from her bag, "Who knew Rosewood had this many cops? I went to put this back and they were outside the doctors office talking to Toby's shrink. They know this was stolen!"
