Later that night, Aurora was sat across from her daughter on her bed who was squealing loudly and chewed on her teddy bear as she leaned into her mothers embrace resting her head against Aurora cheek making the brunette chuckle as she kissed Hope's forehead when her phone started to go off making the brunette pick up her phone only to see that Emily is ringing her.
Hope looked up in curiously at her mother as Aurora placed her phone against her ear and greeted Emily, "Hey, Em. What's up?" There was a moment of silence before Emily questioned, "Your going to the party tonight, right?" Aurora nodded her head in confirmation as she opened her mouth to speak only for Emily to continue speaking, " I was wondering if you wanted to go together." Auroralet out a sigh as she glanced down at her daughter who was babbling trying to have a conversation with her mother making an amused smile appear on her face
"Yeah, I'm going. My mom going to Ella's Montgomery art exhibition, she said that she'd look after Hope for me. Noel offered to pick me up but I'll meet you there, okay?" Aurora asked as Emily started stuttering on the phone making the brunette furrow her eyebrows in worry as she tilted her head to the side as she spoke up and asked, "Emily is something going on? You know you can talk to me about anything, I won't judge you"
Emily took a deep breathe before she softly said, " that's because something did happen. I had just finished swim practice and Ben snuck into the locker room and forced himself on me" Aurora eyes widened in shock at what Emily had just told her, "What? Are you serious? I'll kill him the next time I see him. Are you okay?" Aurora asked in concern as Emily took a deep breathe and confessed, " yeah, I'm okay. Thanks to Toby Cavanaugh. He Soccer punched Ben before I grabbed my stuff and made a run for it"
Aurora placed her head against her shoulder holding her phone in place as she stood up picking up Hope and exclaimed, " as much as Toby comes across as a weirdo and a creep he did save you. Please tell me you broke it off with Ben?" Emily scoffed from the other side of the phone, "Of course I did. Why would i continue going out with somebody like that. I just needed to speak to somebody and your the first person I thought off. Look, I have to get ready so I'll see you later" Emily told the brunette making a small smile appear on Aurora face and replied, "Yeah, I'll see you later"
Aurora hung up the phone and throwing it on her bed before looking down at Hope who were cooing in her mothers arms placing her head on her shoulder making the brunette smile rocking her back and forth. It's been a year since the girls have been proper friends and Aurora had a feeling they slowly their friendship is growing stronger by the day all because of the texts they are receiving from this same person.

A little while later, Aurora arrived at the Kahn's cabin as Noel couldn't pick her up as he had to run an errand so she took a ride with Emma. Aurora smiled greeting her classmates as she walked further into the cabin until she spotted Hanna leaning against the wall with a bored expression on her face watching Sean as he played a game of fuseball with Noel. A smile suddenly appeared on Hanna face at the sight of brunette, " Rory, thank god you're here"
