- There's No Place Like Homecoming
Aurora was placing her books in her locker after she had finished history as the hallway was gathered with students making their way to there next class. Aurora couldn't help but frown as her eyes shifted to a picture of her, Hanna, Emily, Spencer, Aria and Alison, Aurora couldn't help but chuckle as her and Alison was laughing in the picture with their arms around one another.
"Rory!" A familiar voice called out, snapping her attention away from the picture she was currently staring at as she closed her locker turning around adjusting her bag on her shoulder as she came face to face with Noel placing a small smile on her lips as she greeted the boy, " Noel, Hey" Noel grinned at the sight of the brunette as he raised his brows and curiously questioned, " Are you still on for tonight? Being my date for the homecoming dance?"
Aurora hummed as she was let out a sigh folding her arms across her chest and replied, " Yeah, I guess. Look, Noel I want to apologise if I seem off at all it's just... it's complicated to be honest and I guess everything is getting on top of me so I'm sorry in advance if I'm not the exactly the ideal company" Noel nodded his head in understanding with a sympathetic look on his face as he knew a little of what she's been going through with the fact that her best friend dead body was recently found and she has to get used to the fact that she will never see Alison again and that she's not a missing person any longer.
" I might not understand what your going through but times like this you need to be surrounded by the people who care about you and I have a feeling that maybe the school dance will take your mind off it. Even if it's for a little while" Noel informed shrugging his shoulders causing Aurora to sigh in defeat as she shot him a look, " Fine, but just to make things clear there'll be no slow dancing and I already have a dressed picked out so don't even think of getting me so much as a corsage. You understand?"
Noel couldn't help but beam brightly as he nodded his head watching as Aurora turn around walking down the corridor and called out, " I'll see you tonight Rory! I'll pick you up at 7.30, okay?" Aurora glanced over her shoulder with a roll of her eyes as she laughed quietly at Noel as while there is nothing romantic going on between the two it didn't mean she didn't see him as a friend as he made her laugh and smile and maybe he was right about going tonight to distract herself with everything that has been happening lately with this A person that knows everything about each of the girls.

Aurora walked into the school gym of Rosewood High, all eyes were automatically drawn to her as the brunette made her way through the crowd in search of her friends, dragging Noel with her by his hand when a smile appeared on her face as she spotted them when Hanna raised her hand gaining Aurora attention. The entire school gym was transformed into a carnival theme with the colours black and purple and a live band playing as the entertainment.
