Chapter 22

Emma's pov

My head aches horribly when I wake up . I see a lot of crystals around me and for some reason I get extremely scared . That feeling is kind of telling me this place isn't good but another feeling is telling me I should stay here . I hear voices on my head telling me to watch deeply into the crystals . I look directly into one and the most horrible sight in the world comes .

It looks a lot like the future , but not the future I live in but the future that may come in a few moths or days . What I see looks so real , that I know it will happen , this thing is telling me the future . Someone I don't know stabs a knife on his heart , Arthur's heart . I look away and breath heavily .

My mind is getting out of control , I have no idea what to think . The only thing I do is run . I run out of this place as fast as I can . I fall in front of Camelot gates when my body starts to loose strength . Those horrible images still appear in my mind but I try to push them away . I stand up and run one last time .

My body is weakening every second I run . The people in the citadel stare at me and offer to help me. I ignore their offers and walk as fast as possible since running is no longer an option . Once my body looses all the strength I am in front of the palace gates .

Peter's pov

My face is extremely red . That is not the way you talk to a girl . Specially if she isn't your girlfriend or anything like that . I'm going to have a serious talk with this kid here . He is not going to talk to my sis like that . I walk out of Emma's room and try to find her .m

Merlin's pov

I wake up to Arthur's voice . " merlin ! " great , the perfect way to start my morning . Note the sarcasm . I walk to his chambers and open the door .

"What is it ?" I ask groggily

"My cousin she is not here , have you seen her ? "

I grow worried since I kind of liked her . Don't get me wrong not in that way but in a friendly way.

" umm no , not since yesterday " I answer him . Arthur's face looks really worried . He seems to really care about her .

" Arthur we will find her , she must be somewhere around the palace " I tell him .

" I hope so because if she is not in the palace my father will not let me send a search party or let me go for her alone . " Arthur tells me

Just when we walk out Leon one of the knights comes rushing in .

"Sire we found the princess in the floor right now at the gates of the palace !" He informs us

Without another word both of us rush out of the place to Gaius chambers . We get there in a matter of one minute and rush in . I see her there , she seems to nearly breath . Thankfully for us her brother is not here or we will be dead by now . Arthur has told me how overprotective he could be .

I wonder what could of happened to her . She was perfectly fine yesterday when we left her at her chambers . Oh that girl is very curious , she just of gone to the crystal cave ! Poor girl , I just hope she couldn't see anything or things will be bad for her .

I give Gaius the look of what the hell happened to her . He just looks at me with a face of I explain to you later . I look around and Arthur is extremely worried . He just walks out of the room and runs away . Probably to his chambers .

" Gaius what happened to her ? " I ask him with a lot of worry in my voice .

"Merlin , how far did you went yesterday in your hunting trip " great Gaius is going to find out . Not good , not at all .

" umm just a few miles away . " I lie .

"Merlin don't lie to me , I know you to well . Where did you went . "

"Okay fine , we went near the crystal cave " I knew I couldn't lie to Gaius .

"This is not good Merlin ! I think the girl has very strong powers . I think she saw the crystals . She is just a girl merlin ! " Gaius shouts at me .

" I know , but we need for her to wake up so we can help her . I must tell Arthur "

"Fine go , I'll be here waiting for her to wake up ."

I nod at him and run out of the place . Arthur must be really worried , I need to get him the news of what happened .

Emma's pov

Those images hunt me . They can't be true , those crystals must trick everyone who comes in . I believe I'm in a bed by now . I turn and kick everything around me as I see the images again and again .

I wake up panting and sweating . I need to ask someone about this . Maybe Gaius , or Merlin . When I turn around I see Gaius , thank god . Before I can say anything Merlin interrupts me by running in .

"What you saw at the cave ?" He asks .

"How did you know I was at the cave . How did you know I will see anything ?" I ask him with suspicion .

"I've been there before . I've seen things there too , I know the danger " he tells me . I nod and try to tell hm without crying .

Once I'm done he looks at me with a worried expression .

"Do you remember the background ? "

"Umm yes it was his chambers " I say , hoping he tells me what he is thinking .

" at around what time ?" He asks

"Sunset... Just like right now " I say while my voice gets even more worried

"And who killed him ? "

"I don't remember the face but it was a man "

" oh no , we have a guest here in Camelot . And I believe he is one of Cenred's men . Uther hasn't noticed yet though . "

We both look at each other and run to Arthur's chambers . I just hope we are not to late .
