Chapter 5

Emma's pov
I wake up to see I'm in the schools janitors closet , then out of no were a fist hits my face and the person shouts at me
" how dare you put us in shame in P.E , we are the best not you !" The person shouts and I immediately recognize that voice : James and on the back Brady
" listen up " Brady says " we will let you go but NEVER do that again " he says , I just nod and leave the school running . When I get home I see my family really worried and my mom almost in tears .
" where were you ?!" Susan shouts , all of a sudden my nose starts bleeding , great just great Emma . Edmund comes rushing to me and sees that my cheek is purple and green. Then he says
" Okay this is definitely not an accident who did this to you ?" Oh god what do I say now ... Yes I know it
" can I please talk to Susan about it ?" I ask
A chorus of "yeas" fills the room and I walk to our room and start telling her the story she hugs me when it's over .

" so what do you think ,should I tell them ? " I ask

" Yes for sure , I mean they are your cousins " she says m okay that literally broke my heart , my eyes well up with tears buts Susan doesn't see , thank god . I go down stairs and tell them the story . Peter looks like he is about to punch someone and so is Edmund , but Lucy is not giving me a sorry look she looks mad . Everyone goes to sleep but not me I'm having a word with my "aunt" . When I'm sure they are upstairs I start talking

" so mom can I have a word with you?" I say

" shh don't call me that they can hear you !" She scolds me , okay that hurt and hard .

" I didn't mean it " she says
" Oh but you did !" I shout
" you know what it doesn't matter I understand you don't love me I should had of stayed in New York with a real family !! I jested wanted to tell you that they deserve to know " I shout and whisper the last part . With that I go up running and into a room with a closet in it I don't think I just go in it .
