Chapter 14

Edmund's pov
I get off my horse running and carry Emma to my horse . Lucy and Gaius keep shouting behind me asking me what's going on . Arthur just tells them that there is no time to explain and with that we both get in our horses and run to the forest . Once we are in the Druids place they get to help her and Arthur notices that she has magic because she wakes up after some weird conjuring they do . Arthur's mouth is wide open but doesn't say a word .

Emma's pov

I wake up with a headache and see that I'm in the middle of a weird cave. I'm about to shout until I see two familiar faces : Arthur and Edmund . I push everyone around me and run to hug Edmund . I have no idea what happened but I'm glad to see my brother . Before I know it Arthur is hugging me too. I feel shocked because I thought he wanted me out of Camelot just like his father. He notices my confused look and explains how he let Lucy and Edmund stay and how he saved me. I feel so thankful that I jump into his arms and give him a huge bear hug. Arthur laughs and says

" Oh and don't worry about my father I will take care of him . Just remember to have fun " He is so much like Peter .

--- next day ---
I feel much more recovered now . I get out off my bed and walk around the hallways before I see Arthur and a beautiful woman kissing , but that young woman is not a princess at all . She is a servant , I can notice it by her clothes . I decide to not open mi big fat mouth and to ask him later. That will be a nice interesting talk I think . I keep walking around the halls , now trying to find Edmund and Lucy . I see Ed practicing with Sir Leon and Lucy walking around the halls just like me . Lucy has a depressed look and keeps looking at the beautiful necklace Peter gave her a long time ago with the form of the lamp . I decide to go and talk to her.

"Hey Lu are you alright ?"

"No , I miss Peter and Susan I just wish they will come now . I'm also afraid of what could happen to them "

"Hey Lu don't forget wars don't last forever " I say

"Yeah I know I guess I will just go to my chambers and take a rest "

I nod and walk away to find Arthur . I find him in his chambers so I knock and go in . I see he has a troubled look in his face so I ask him

"Arthur what's going on , I know you are worried I can see it in your face . You put the same look as Peter " I say , smiling at the last part

" If I tell you do you promise to not tell anyone "

"I won't tell anyone I promise "

"Okay well I think someone saw me and another girl kissing , I felt their presence ." Ha that was me .

"Oh Arthur you have nothing to worry about that was me , and that was the exact reason I wanted to talk to you. Who is her ?"

"Her name is Guinevere , she is an absolutely wonderful woman . But sadly that was our last kiss since we decided that it's not good for the kingdom "

"Arthur that is really sad but remember one thing , once you are king you can change things "

He smiles at me and nods . Arthur hugs me and throws me into the bed and starts tickling me

"Arthur stop "

"Stop please "

After some 10 minutes of a mini tickling battle I end up winning because I transformed him into a sweet bunny . Until he started scratching me so I turned him back into a human . I fell asleep on his bed and don't know what happened next .

Arthur's pov

I see that Emma has fallen asleep in my bed so I carry her out and bring her to her chambers . I'm about to leave but I turn around once more and see that she has a lot of my mother's aspects . Even dough I didn't meet her I saw some portraits . I will ask her about our family connection tomorrow in a sweet picnic with the four of us . I get to my chambers and when my head hits my pillow I'm out as light .
