Alex's pov

"so your telling me at Andy wanted that?" Sandra raised her eyebrows as we ate at our usual spot "are you even listening!" she shrugged "thats what it looks like to me" she sipped her drink as i pinched the bridge of my nose "okay lets change subject" i suggested as she was the first to speak "so got any idea what that notebook is?"

"i have absolutely no idea Sandy" she glared at me through her glasses as she pointed her finger as a warning "dont ever call me that" i gulped thats right she may be my friend but she terrifies me at times "so what do you think that book is?" "hmm a death note" i snapped my fingers as she shook her head "your hopeless you know that,look just try and try to get it from him and you should i dont know take a peek at it" i nodded

"but what if it contains deep things" "like?" "come on Sandra use your brain,you know personal things" "hmm i dont think Andrews the type to hide personal things less in a book" she took off her glasses "look as i always say be careful just think about it may it bring consequences maybe..may it ruin your life and friendship yes but know whats best for you and Andy just give the guy some space" "guess your right" i laid back on my spot as i looked at the window and saw Andy talking with that dude i mean girl i punched Sandra "dude look at the window" she obeyed and saw Andy she was about to knock loud to get their attention as i stopped her

"are you insane" i furrowed my eyebrows "maybe" was all she said. Its been a few days since that incident with Andy and ive tried my best to avoid him yesterday he almost saw me and i had to run through an empty alley to hide right now Sandra and I were walking to my house i tried to ignore the girl he was talking to the minute i saw them my blood boiled i dont know why am i jealous or something? "hey were here" we stopped as he walked to Andy's backyard.Sandra was going to help me retrieve the notebook "how do we enter?" i walked around the house but their was no use in getting inside "want me to break a window"

Sandra clenched her fists "what no thats illegal!" she shrugged "wow what happened to the old Alex" "shes gone Sandra..but she may be back" i whispered the last part "come ill help you up" she pointed up and his window was open im so scared of heights i grabbed onto Sandra tight as i grabbed the edge of the window as she pushed me up "oww" i fell on the floor "you okay" she asked as i gave her a thumbs up i walked around the dark room and tripped over something i raised an eyebrow and reached for what i tripped it was a backpack it was a bit opened i reached my hand and their was the notebook.

I hesitated on grabbing it but i did i opened it and read the first sentence One Final Fight For This Tonight,With Knives And Pens.... i stared confused at it then Sandra hissed as my eyes widened as i heard the front door open i stuck my head over the window as Sandra flared her arms "Andy's home just jump" she whispered shouted "what no" i mouthed she slumped her arms down at her sides as i gritted my teeth i heard footsteps in the hallway and i quickly held the book at my chest as i jumped out of the window luckily Sandra grabbed me as she ran and carried me to my house.

"your such an idiot you know that" she breathed as we were almost caught "i know im sorry but look" i held the book up as she smirked "at last you did something right cause you always screw things up" i glared at her as we both walked to the couch and opened the first page we read some paragraphs "its like a diary" i nodded as i continued reading then we were on the 5th page when things got deeper Andy wrote all about his life from now how he tried to commit suicide,the bullies,how we met and i saved his life how he wants to go get out of the house and that he hates life right now we read the last couple of pages hes written but nothing said about me about him if he possibly likes me non of that i closed the book it was to deep on some things he wrote.

"What have ive gotten myself into" i asked walking back and forth as Sandra looked calm as ever "yeah" i stopped "what i was only joking when i told you to read the book i didnt thought you would read it or less find it" "i dont know what the hell to do i just invaded his personal space he'll kill me if he finds out i read this" she shook her head as she fixed her glasses "your on your own buddy" she walked up to the door "call me if you need help" i watched as she just left without another word said i bit my nails as i stared at the black notebook on the table.
