Unexpected Love

While Nick and Miya were having their conversation something else was occurring across town.

"Ell, did you touch my scrunchies?" Mykie yells at her. She was always touching something of hers and it just drove Mykie crazy. "I swear I'm going to kill you" Mykie says as she walks out the room. Once she enters the living room, she notices the door open. "Ell!" she calls out to her but no answer. Mykie runs out the door making her way down the stairs searching for Ell, she continued to call out her name. She runs outside and looks around but there was no sign of her. "No, Ell" she couldn't help but cry.

About that time Phoenix had pulled up. He notices Mykie standing outside with no shoes on, she seemed very distraught. He didn't even bother parking, he pulls up and parks in front to Mykie. He immediately jumps out the car. "Where's Ell? What happened? Why are you standing out here?" he asks once he reaches her.

Mykie's face was completely red from crying along with her eyes."She's gone, someone took her" she said. "I had no idea the door was even open, I told her so many times to never opem the door" Mykie said. Her heart sank, what if they never find her again or even worse find her dead. Mykie broke out in sobs, she couldn't bare to lose Ell. This whole situation was her fault, she was to blame if something happened to Ell.

"Let's get you inside" Phoenix lets out a sigh "I need to call Nick" he adds. He makes his way back inside the apartment with Mykie, he closes the door and began to look around seeing if he could find any evidence that was left behind. The phone starts to ring in his ear as he waited for Nick to pick up."Come on man" he whispers, soon enough Nick's voice was heard.

"Hey, are the girls alright? I hope they aren't giving you too much trouble" Nick chuckles. He looks over at Miya for a moment giving her a smile, he takes his hand rubbing her hand softly.

"Nick we have a problem" Phoenix started to pace the floor. "Ell has been taken, from the apartment" he said.

Nick's entire demeanor changed, his body became tense. He didn't even realize he was squeezing Miya's hand until she lets out a wimper which causes him to pull away. "I'm on my way, please tell me Mykie's okay" he said.

"She's fine but a little broken up about what happened" Phoenix replied. "I'll see you when you get here" he says before hanging up the phone.

Nick stands to his feet, he grabs his leather jacket and keys. "Ell has been taken,I need to get home and find her" he said.

"I'm coming with you" Miya said. She slips her shoes back on,then goes over getting her jacket. She couldn't believe this was happening, Ell's such a sweet and kind girl who would want to take her. They all knew Nick had some enemies with a lot of people, she just hoped that Ell was okay.

"I don't think it's best..." Nick was going to say but Miya stopped him. She could do things the others couldn't, she knew she could handle this.

"Don't even argue, I'm coming" Miya said. She makes her way towards the front door, she swings it open and headed out. She looks behind her to see Nick following closely, they both get inside the car and headed towards the apartments.

Soon Nick arrived at the apartment buildings. He rushes inside his apartment with Miya,he sees Phoenix standing there along with Mykie but he says nothing to her. He turns his attention back on Phoenix "everyone is meeting at the warehouse in a few minutes. Rounding up everyone to check the streets, I don't want anyone killing him. I want him back to me, I'll handle that son of a bitch myself" he said.

Phoenix nods his head, he couldn't help but notice Nick avoiding Mykie. "We should probably head out now" he said. He gives Mykie a glance and hopefully smile. "We're going to bring her back" he said. The only thing Mykie did was nod her head.

Nick's attention went to Miya "I need you to stay here, she might pop back up or something" he said. He stepped away into the halfway of the building.

Once Nick and Phoenix were gone Mykie brust into tears. She covers her face with her hands, she hated people seeing her cry. In her eyes that was a sign of weakness and one thing about her, she's not weak.

"Hey, everything is going to be okay" Miya said. She takes a seat next to Mykie, she pulled the girl to her. "They will find Ell, she's going to be okay. I know she is, she has to be" she mutters the last part.

"I'm so scared, I've seen shows and movies about these types of things" Mykie says. She pulls away from Miya and wipes her eyes. "It's different when it happens to your own family. Now Nick hates me, he wouldn't even look at me" she said. "All this is my fault" she stated.

"Don't you dare blame yourself, you didn't know this was going to happen. None of us did, Mykie he doesn't hate you. Nick loves you very much. He's just upset because it could've been both of you instead of one" Miya said.

"I wish it would have been me" Mykie said. She placed the pillow down then gets up walking into her room. She slams the door then goes over plopping on the bed. Mykie buried her face inside her pillow and began to scream until she couldn't take it anymore she began to cry. All Mykie wants is Ell home with them.
