Authors Note: The fact Chat Blancs Ladybug was dead and he died (when Marinette fixed the past that version of Chat Noir technically died) after years alone without her makes me so freaking sad. Anyways! Best chapter yet! Enjoy!

3rd person POV:

Chat blanc stared at him in disbelief "You came unprepared, I'd almost find it insulting if there wasn't so much second-hand embarrassment"

"I know right, this situation's feline a little catastrophic," Adrien said nervously.

"Chat Noir," Marinette said, still curled in her corner.

Adrien's focus was taken by her.

Leave it to cat puns to release suppressed memories! He thought with slight relief.

She still looked petrified, if he'd known better, he'd say she looked like she thought she was going to die.

His relief was short-lived. Now he's just mad.

"What's your business with Marinette," he said before staring down Chat Blanc

"Let's just say, she took something from me," he said with a smile.

Adrien remained with his straight face. That wasn't the answer he wanted.

"Once upon a time she stole my heart," he explained with far too much dramatic emphasis like he was mocking him.

"I found out she was Ladybug,"

"We were in love."

"Even found Hawkmoth together, stronger than ever. The purrfect team."

"Then what? I don't understand why you would want to hurt her. I don't understand what happened."

Chat Blanc stopped. No longer smiling.

"Well, I was given an impossible ultimatum. Then let's just say: Chat Blanc got into mischief."

"You killed everyone," Marinette whispered, as the two boys turned to face her.

"You killed me," she said, voice shaking.

Trauma has its way of sticking, Adrien thought.

"No, Marinette. I was the one that tried to bring you back. You and your stubborn ways refused to give me your miraculous," he said, walking towards her with anger in his eyes, then continued, shouting "I could've fixed it! I could've fixed it all! I didn't choose Hawkmoth, I chose you. In the end of the day, you didn't choose me. You didn't love me."

He was getting too close to her, she looked so scared.

"I waited years, looking for your miraculous. Solitary for years, thinking only of you," he said longingly.

His mood shifted yet again, boring into her "But you weren't her. My ladybug is dead."

he started to reach for her earrings "if I could just bring back the girl who loved m-" WACK

Adrien had taken a chair from behind, then whacked him in the head, knocking him unconscious.

They both stared at his body, still processing what just happened, everything they've learned.

"God, am I really that much of an ass?" he shucked at Marinette, trying to break the ice.

Her face remained sad, "I'm sorry Adrien, I wouldn't know."
