Everything was coming to an end. They only had a few scenes to complete and reshoots. One of the last scenes Scarlett was to film was a fantasy scene where her character imagines fighting off a bunch of security guards. She got to wear a super cool black pleather jumpsuit that made her feel like a super spy. She even had a stunt person for the scene. Even though the scene was externally short she really enjoyed the fight scene. Maybe she would talk to her manger about possibly booking an action role.
"Woah what are you wearing?" Chris eyed her up and down. She was on her way back to her trailer to change out of her costume.
"Remember the fantasy scenes. I get to be a kick ass spy," she made a fist and playfully punched him on the arm.
"I see... well that suit really suits you," he smirked. She looked really hot in the form fitting pleather costume.
"Thank you," she smiled starting to feel a bit embarrassed.
"Your coming to the wrap party at Erika's hotel room right?" Chris asked her.
"Yup, see ya there," she said and headed to her trailer. They were having one last cast dinner. They had all decided to have it at Erika's hotel room as that was where they had their first get together. So it would be fitting for them to have their last get together where everything had first started. Everything would come full circle.Scarlett decided to go straight to the party from set. She was so comfortable with the cast now that she did not feel the need to dress up. They had all seen her in sweats and without makeup. They had seen her exhausted and slightly drunk. There was no need to pretend with them anymore. They were her family away from home. She knew that she could be authentically herself with them. When she got to the party, music was already blaring and it seemed like everyone had already had a few drinks. Erika and Bryan were making out in a corner. They had gotten very close throughout filming the movie. Scarlett wondered what would happen between them next. Would they officially become a couple? She didn't dare ask Erika. It was none of her business.
"Scarlett!" They all cheered as she entered. Erika pulled away from Bryan and handed her a beer bottle from the cooler before she could even take her coat off. She took a swing of the beer and entered deeper into the room. She looked around the room sneakily looking for Chris. She wanted to spend every remaining minute with him as their time together was coming to an end. After that day she would no longer get to see his playful smile everyday. She heard a burst of laughter that she instantly recognized to be his. She turned towards the noise of his laughter; Chris was playing beer pong with Leonard. She walked over to where they were to see who was winning.
"Scarly you made it," Chris said a bit too loudly. Scarlett could tell that he was starting to get a bit tipsy. She looked at the cups left on the table and to her surprise Chris was actually winning. He was only missing one cup. She watched as Chris and Leonard took turns trying to throw the balls into the red solo cups filled to the rim with beer.
"You guys are shit at this," she said after she had watched a few rounds.
"Like you could do better?" Chris challenged her.
"I bet I could," she shooed Leonard away and started to re set the game.
"Loser has to take shots for every cup still left," Chris said.
"Are you sure you can handle that Chrissy? You are already kinda drunk," she teased him. Since when did he have a nickname? Chrissy was too cute of a nickname, but Chris did not care as it was coming out of Scarlett mouth. He would let her call him anything.
"Ya, ya whatever. Ladies first," he motioned with his hands for her to throw the ball. "Remember elbow behind the table," Chris eyed her. She effortlessly threw the ball which landed right into the middle cup without a bounce. "Fuck!" Chris said shocked. She was actually really good at this. Scarlett smiled pleased with herself. "You arn't even legal," he remarked.
"Doesn't mean I don't have experience," she winked. Scarlett threw balls one after the other and they all landed bobbing in a cup of beer. She watched contently as Chris had to chug each cup. He still hadn't got a turn yet. When Chris only had two cups left Scarlett finally missed.
"Thank God!" He pumped his fists in the air. He grabbed his ball and threw it towards her cups. It ended up bouncing off of one of the rims and not going into any cup.
"Will you admit you suck now?" She smirked.
"Just you wait I am gonna have an epic comeback," he said faithful.
"Sure," Scarlett threw her ball and it landed in one of the cups. "Ok Chrisy, last cup," Scarlett pretended to stretch and focused in on the cup.
"Just throw it!" Chris whined.
"Ok," Scarlett smiled sweetly and tossed the ball right into the middle of the remaining cup. "Looks like you will have to take ten shots," she reminded him of the bet.
"I am never playing this with you ever again," Chris said. He started to look for shot glasses and grabbed the bottle of vodka. He set out ten glasses and started to pour.
"Let's just split them," Scarlett said dragging five of the shots towards her. She could tell that Chris was already pretty drunk. "Actually, maybe I will take 6," she grabbed an extra. She had only drank half of her beer so far. They both picked up a glasses and and clanked them. They both downed the shot then moved onto the next. By the sixth shot Scarlett started to feel herself drifting. She looked over at Chris and he was slowing drinking each shot.
"God, you are so slow," she grabbed one of his shots and quickly drank it. She was going to be completely wasted by the end of the night, but she didn't care. After all it was a goodbye party. Whatever happened would just stay there. She probably wouldn't see her cast mates ever again. Or if she did it would just be at an event. It's not as if she was gonna spend her whole career working with them.
