Chris woke up the next day with a bit of a headache. He didn't drink a lot last night, but his mind was the slightest bit hazy. He started to get out of bed and thought about the events last night. His mind wandered to his almost kiss with Scarlett. He smiled to himself just thinking about her. He was somewhat disappointed that she didn't kiss him when Erika dared her to. He had a girlfriend, but he couldn't help but feel gravitated towards Scarlett. He remembered how close she was to him last night. He could have just leaned in an inch more to close the distance between them and kiss her. He thought about her perfect pink simmering lips and he wondered what it would feel like to kiss her. He knew that he could not act on his desire because of Jessica, but he wanted to.

Scarlett was very hung over when she woke up. She was glad that she had a late call time, so that she could recover a bit. She recalled the truth or dare game and could not believe she almost kissed Chris. What was she thinking? If she hadn't stopped herself at the last second she would have kissed him. What was she going to do about Chris? She was starting to fall for him even though she knew that he was off limits. Why did he have to be taken? However, even if he was single it wouldn't be a good idea to date him as he was her co-star. It would never last. It would be a meaningless fling that would just end with her getting her heart broken

She decided to get dressed and go over her lines for the scene she would be filming later. The scene was with Chris, hopefully things would not be weird between them after their almost kiss. She wished that she could just ignore him, but that was impossible. How was she going to hide her crush for him over the next few days? She also could have swore that he was into her as well, as he kept looking at her at the party and he even slightly flirted with her towards the end. Scarlett just assumed that it was because he was a bit tipsy.

Scarlett ordered some room service brunch and started reviewing her lines. She already had them all memorized, but she practiced saying them out loud trying to make them sound perfect. She experimented with her tone and speed. After she got board she decided to call Hunter.
"Hey," Scarlett said when he picked up.
"Hey sis, what's up?" His brother asked. "How was the party?" He asked another question before Scarlett could answer.
"It was good. I almost kissed Chris," she gushed. Her and her twin brother were very close. They told each other everything. Scarlett always knew that she could trust him with her deepest secrets.
"You what?" Hunter burst out.
"Erika dared me to kiss him for truth or dare," Scarlett tried to explain.
"Then why didn't you kiss him?" He questioned.
"He has a girlfriend," she said. She was not going to tell her brother about her taking shots.
"But you like him," Hunter knew her so well.
"Ya. I swear he was flirting with me too... ugh what do I do?" Scarlett needed her brother's advice. Even though he was the same age as her she always confided in him. Plus, he was a boy, so it was good to get his thoughts whenever Scarlett had boy issues.
"Stay away from him Scar. You are just gonna get hurt," Hunter warned.
"I guess, but that's a little hard to do when I see him on set basically everyday," Scarlett stated.
"Just don't do anything stupid. You probably will never see him again anyways," Hunter said. Her brother was right. She just needed to steer clear of him for the next few weeks. She would probably forget all about him after they wrapped filming.

Chris had already completed two scenes that day. He was a bit tried, but he still had one last scene and it was with Scarlett. They were filming a scene with just the two of them in a cafe. It was the only scene in the movie where it was just him and Scarlett. He was excited to work one on one with her. The scene was short, so maybe they could go out together afterwards. Would that be weird? It wouldn't be like a date or anything. Chris set aside his thoughts and walked into the coffee shop where they were filming. Scarlett was already there sitting down at one of the tables looking down at her script.
"Boo!" Chris snuck up behind her and whispered in her ear.
"What the hell!" She jumped up. Chris could not help, but laugh. She looked so cute.
"Sorry, I couldn't help it," Chris smirked.
"I am totally gonna get you back for that," Scarlett smiled. Chris was relieved that she wasn't mad. He had a feeling that they were going to become very close.
"So you ready for the scene?" Chris asked taking a seat at the other end of table. He would be sitting in the chair the entire scene. Scarlett would walk into the cafe, they would have a small heart to heart, then she would exit. The scene was fairly easy and simple. It was not going to take long at all.
"Ya, you?" She asked politely.
"Yup..." Chris said back. For some reason he was at a loss for words. It was as if he was taking to a girl for the very first time. His tongue felt heavy and he felt a slight tightness in his chest; he was nervous. "Do you want to get something to eat after this?" He tried to say as smoothly and casually as he could. He could feel his voice waiver as he said the words. Hopefully, she would not notice.
"Umm... I think I saw catering outside. I was just gonna grab something on break," Scarlett said. Was Chris trying to ask her out on a date? He had a girlfriend back in LA, so Scarlett was confused. She didn't want to be some side thing because he was lonely and needed company.
"How about dessert? I know this great gelato place just around the corner," Chris suggested. He hoped he didn't sound to desperate or pushy.
"Erika told me you have a girlfriend," Scarlett admitted. She knew it was odd to bring it up, but she felt like she needed to.
"Don't worry Scarlett, I am not asking you out on a date. Not that I wouldn't want to go on a date with you. You seem really amazing and everything. I just want to hang out and maybe get to know you better. You intrigue me," Chris rambled being honest. He wasn't sure how he felt about Scarlett knowing he had a girlfriend. Nothing would happen between them for sure now. A part of him was a bit disappointed, even though he knew it was wrong.
"Umm, ok then," Scarlett agreed. She knew it was a bad idea to go out with him as it would just make her fall for him more, but she couldn't help it. He was just so adorable and it seemed like he wanted things between them to be strictly platonic, so she didn't feel guilty. She wasn't doing anything bad. Going out for ice cream with him would be harmless.
