Chapter 24

I wait for her to come back. She looked more in pain than I am. I was this near to heave a sigh of relief when the door opened revealing Ryan and Danyal.

“What’s with that face?" Danyal inquired giving me a bro hug.

“Can I smack that face of yours?” Ryan added and I looked at him apologetically

“Update me!” I asked

“Can you shut it?” Ryan screamed “You frustrate me to no point” shutting the door with a loud thud he exits the room.

“I think he is too happy to see you alive.” Danyal muttered making me snicker

“We had chased Mustafa and it was the old mansion he was residing in. I suggested torture but you know how Abraham mind works!” he told as a matter of fact “He killed him there. You can examine the report at the office but not right now.”

“But god! the way he begged for his life; you should have seen that.”  he snickered

“Ayzel prepared all the paperwork required for the trial and brother!” he paused giving me a bro hug “All your fathers’ property is officially yours. Enjoy the freedom.” he smiled

They've done an incredible job. God, why was I out! I had to kill that fucker with my bare hands. She's been working too much. No wonder she looked like shit. Remembering her “where’s she?” I asked Danyal

“Was not she here with you?” he asked looking around

“Yes, has gone to fetch a doctor.”

“That’s an hour ago!” he looked alarmed “that was when she called us...”

“Fuck.” I tried getting up but a shooting pain in my abdomen prevent me from the further moment and I grunted.

“Where the hell is Ayzel!” Ryan barged in the room the same way he left and I sighed at his tactics

“She must have gone home.” I replied. I know she needs time. She won’t tell me all her pain and worries. That’s how she works. Too considerate for this world.  Too good for me.

“She’s not well.” Danyal stated as a matter of fact

“What you mean.” he inquired “she’s just tired from all this drama.”

“You think all that anxiety she has and depression she got from this man laying right here and all that nonstop work; she could be fine?”

“Take me to her.” I tear apart all the tubes and the damn cannula causing the blood to drip but who cares!

“Zaviyar, you need rest. Let us handle her. We'll go and check up on her.” with that they both pushed me back on the bed “It was never a question.” I seethed

“Really!” Ryan sounded disappointed “You get to show that damn dominant side right now!”

“Get the fuck out of my way.”

“Okay. Okay, let's just go together.” Danyal muttered. finally, some sane decision.

“But you are not allowed to leave. Damn, the doctor hasn’t even checked on you yet!” he said flabbergasted

“Damn the whole world Ryan I need to see her safe and fine.” I shouted

“Damn you Zaviyar! You were not even here when she most needed you.”
