MTV INTERVIEWS RICHARD MADDEN AHEAD OF STRANGER OF FIRE!

MTV: Hello ladies and gentlemen! We are MTV and today we are joined by special guest, Richard Madden!

RICHARD: Hello everyone!

MTV: Richard, thank you so much for joining us today.

RICHARD: Pleasure to be here!

MTV: We are so excited to see your new movie Stranger of Fire directed by Martin Scorsese. You are starring in it along with your wife, Eleanor Madden, as well as Joel Wilkins, Florence Pugh and Noah Schnapp. You play a character named Adrian Donovan. Can you give us an overview of your character?

RICHARD: Yeah so Adrian Donovan is an activist who is homeless. Him, along with his friends Anna Miller and Toby Robinson- played by Florence and Noah- are all creating civilisation for those who are in the same position as them. Adrian and his friends find themselves caught up in a murder trial by lawyer Emma Wilkins- played by my beautiful wife Eleanor Madden and fight for their rights and security.

MTV: Sounds like such a thrilling role!

RICHARD: Yeah it's quite an intense movie and the roles we all play are raw and taken into account the realistic issues as you will see portrayed in the film.

MTV: Now you are nearing the end of filming. How has it been working alongside Martin and your fellow cast members?

RICHARD: Oh fantastic! They've all expressed their individuality and passion for their respected roles. Martin has been fantastic and to be apart of this amazing production has been an incredible honour. The cast, well where do I start? I've been extremely lucky to be sharing the screen with Eleanor. Coming from her role of Cassidy Shields in Shameless, she's approached this role with so much intensity and it's so different to what everyone has seen her in. Joel, Florence and Noah, I feel so well-connected with them. They've all been in such amazing projects and to have that diversity of the different types of genres in each one of them really does surprise you when it comes to this film.

MTV: I think you gave me chills. Makes me more excited for the film! Now, some stills were released the other week and may I say, the costuming, the sets and the production looks amazing! It looks like you have such an amazing team working behind the scenes.

RICHARD: Oh yeah! The work that goes into making films is incredible! The sets for this film are so complex, neutral and compelling to each of the characters. Each set basically creates an aura around each character and they're intuition. It's clever filmmaking in my perspective.

MTV: Sounds incredible! Richard. We have one final question for you: Do you know when we could expect the movie to be released?

RICHARD: Unfortunately, I do not have that information on me.

MTV: Ah that's okay! Well Richard thank you so much for your time! We appreciate having you join us today!
