Martin Scorsese has done it again with this whirlwind, action packed movie. Starring stars of Eleanor and Richard Madden, Joel Wilkins, Florence Pugh and Noah Schnapp, Stranger of Fire was predicted to be the biggest movie of the year.

Boy were they right!

On it's opening weekend, Scorsese's film made $10 million dollars at the box office. Many celebs were quick to tweet about their comments for the film. Many stated it was "incredible" while others mentioned it as "an adventure that can't be described."

We took the liberty of seeing it on opening weekend and we were hooked. In fact, we saw it another two times!

If you've seen the film, we have a slight recap below!

WARNING! SPOILER AHEAD! DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE FILM!

The film begin with a panoramic shot of the high rises of New York city. Straight away being introduced to the higher authorities of the social hierarchy. The outside of a building is shot and then we are showcased a busy office. The people are working away. Soon, we are introduced to Emma Wilkins (Eleanor Madden). She is dressed to perfection. We are shown how she works and the importance of her character and her role in the office.

Cue Ed Garcia (Joel Wilkins). Emma and Joe are colleagues. Both work in Shaw Law Firm, the most successful Law Firm in New York. The two exchange a conversation, talking about the recent case they had one involving a high end robbery. Cue a cameo from the lovely James Marsden! James plays the big boss, John Shaw who places reopens a cold case, a murder of a young girl that happened nine years ago! Why was the case closed? John explains to the two that new evidence had recently risen after police declared the trail had gone cold. Emma inspects the image of the body and we are shown body covered in blood.

Cut to the lower class slums of New York City. We are introduced to a warehouse filled with beds of old, carpet-like blankets and discolored pillows. Many age groups, from children to older people, are crowded in the space. Their faces are covered in dirt and their hair looking tiredly styled. A man walks out of a room and into the space, being greeted by the people. His name, Adrian Donovan (Richard Madden). To the people, he is the leader. Dressed in a sweater filled with holes and pants that have faded, Adrian walks around to the people ensuring they are fed and in good health.

A young boy approaches him, holding up a book. Adrian greets the kid, Toby Robinson (Noah Schnapp) and they talk about Toby's recent read. With limited access to public places due to their living conditions, Adrian had been a provider of many things for the community- food, water, books, clothes, etc. Anna Miller (Florence Pugh) makes her entrance, greeting Adrian with the nickname "Saint Adrian".

The three are a close group, but Anna shows strong independency. As a lower class, they are constantly on supply runs. They are living in a hypothetic apocalypse. Anna informs Adrian of a supply she intends to make, but much to her dismay, Adrian refuses. He informs her to stay with the community while he goes to do the run. He is protective of the community and knows Anna can lead then while he is away. What shocked us most was the kiss he placed on her lips before he exited. Anna and Adrian are a thing!

Back to the law firm, it is now late at night and Emma and Ed are sprawled out with endless amounts of paper scattering the desk and the floor. The two have gone nowhere with any leads or evidence. That is until Emma looks closer at the image, seeing a warehouse in the background of where the body lays. It's the warehouse where Adrian, Anna and Toby live! It's a lead and they pack up for the night, bidding each other goodbye.

The next day, Emma makes a much awaited trip to the warehouse. As she approaches the building, she inspects it to find an entrance, finding herself walking down an alleyway where people crowd oil barrels filled with fire. She inspects them, giving them all a once over. She starts to become uncomfortable, but doesn't let any of them bring her down from her mission. She stops when she enters, seeing the many people hanging in bunk beds. The chatter goes silent, everyone looking at her. Both Emma and the community are intimidated. Emma announces who she is and they all look over to Adrian, who is standing at the far end of the room.

He approaches her with a stern look and Emma adjusts her posture. Adrian asks her why she is here, but his voice is angered. He tells her she is invading their territory. Our first interaction between Emma and Adrian is not a good one. Degraded by his voice, Emma announces why she is here. The community become aware, some even scared that she would speak comfortably of a murder. Adrian pulls her outside. He tells her that they have no reason to speak and that he does not know of a murder, telling her to never come back to the warehouse. By the looks of it, he feels violated and that she trespassed.

There is a week time jump, we see Emma and Ed gathering more notes for their case. There is one area that needs to be explored and much to Emma's dismay, it's at the warehouse. She tells Ed of the incident that happened last week and he reassures her that she will be okay. He agrees he will go with her to help get the necessary information to not be messed with by the people in the warehouse. Emma thanks him and they kiss. The kiss becomes heated and the two begin to make out, pulling off each other's clothes and they go at it. Cut to the bottom of the building where we see Adrian standing, looking up at the only illuminated part of the building. He can see people going at it but doesn't know that it's the girl he saw the week prior.

Emma and Ed go to the warehouse a few days later and approach the community again. The community alarm Adrian of their presence. He walks out along with Anna and Toby and asks Emma why she returned. Ed speaks for her, telling him its crucial they ask questions about the case. Adrian approaches Ed, standing in front of him. Both are trying to look tough, but Ed shrinks at Arian's glares. He warns the two one last time to leave, telling them the next time they come won't be pretty. Ed, however, tells Adrian that they can easily take him to the cops for refusing to speak. Anna speaks up to Adrian telling him to oblige for the safety of their community.

Adrian rolls his eyes and looks at Emma, signaling her to follow him. Ed stays and interviews Anna. Adrian and Emma stop at the end of the alleyway and he demands her to start talking. They introduce themselves briefly before she asks him questions. Adrian answers but his words are short as he wants it to end as soon as possible. A problem erupts in the warehouse and Adrian is demanded to attend it. Emma asks if she can return to ask more questions. Without thinking, Adrian agrees, telling her to meet him that night in the same spot.

That's all we'll say for now! If you want to know the rest, head to your nearest cinema now and see Stranger of Fire!
