Y/N's POV

A quiet alarm ehoes through my bedroom.

I rub my eyes and turn over grabbing my phone from the bedside table.

Y/Ns Phone:

I let out a deep sigh. My phones been extremely dry ever since Nick made me block almost everyone. He even made me block my own mother.

My mother always had a bad feeling about Nick, and she scolded me for a month when I let him move in.

She's right about him. How he isn't a good person, but I just can't bring myself to leave him. I'm still holding onto whatever we could've had.

I drag myself out of bed and into the bathroom, glancing at Nick down the stairs still sound asleep on the couch.

I turn on the bathroom light and check over my body.

maybe marks formed over night

Once again, nothing.

I brush my matted hair and my teeth and head towards the laundry room to retrieve my work dress from the dryer.

I don't bother to head to the bathroom to change as my night clothes hit the laundry floor.

Now dressed and ready to head out the door, I walk towards the kitchen to grab a pop tart and
a sticky note.

While I eat my breakfast I write on the sticky note "I love you, always and forever -Y/N"

I throw the empty pop tart wrapper into the garbage and silently place the sticky note on the T.V. for Nick to see once he wakes up.

I grab my jacket that I had previously hung up on the coat rack, and enter the big city.

My warmth is immediately swept away as New-York's winter air bush's over my face, causing my nose to turn red.

I arrive at work at 7:34 A.M. with my finger tips frozen and my face numb.

wish we had a warmer winter outfit

"Hey! Y/N! Nice to see you. You'll just be helping customers today." My co-worker, Alex shouts from behind the desk as I hang up my coat.

A simple nod and a smile is all I give back as I head towards the back of the store for some coffee to warm me up.

As i'm pouring my coffee into the cheap styrofoam cup I hear Alex call my name.

"Yeah?" I shout back, now stirring sugar into my cup.

"There's a customer who needs help sizing his pants!" Alex yells out to me.

I roll my eyes back in annoyance, but reluctantly place my coffee down and head into main part of the store.

I look at Alex with a confused expression, since I don't see anybody in the store.
