Y/N Pov:

I head out of Clay's apartment and make my way towards my workplace.

That's one thing I've always loved about New York. You can walk pretty much anywhere.

By the time I arrived to work I had almost forgotten the way I had woken up.

almost

"Hey y/- Are you okay?" Alex shoots me a concerned expression as he's restocking the shirts.

"Oh. Yeah, Uhm... I'm fine just not fully awake yet." I lied as I headed towards the backroom for a cup of coffee and to collect my thoughts.

"Whatever you say y/n, but it looks as if you saw a ghost with how pale your face is." He starts taking the tape off the boxes the shirts came in to fold them up and store them.

maybe because I'm worried I'm about to be a ghost

All I could do was let out a small laugh as I closed the back rooms door behind me.

~~~~~~
"Y/n I need you to go out and get these supplies. There should be a few stores nearby with the things we need." Alex hands me a list of things written on a Christmas themed notepad
Supplies:
24' Measuring tape
Black Thread
Red Thread
Off-White Laces
Clorox Wipes
Coffee
"Hmm. I'll try to be back in two or so hours, so around 3ish." I tell Alex as I keep my eyes fixated on the list.
I mindlessly walk through the door into the big city. My eyes still reading the list and memorizing it when I run into someone right in the doorway.
"Oh my god, I'm so sor-Clay?" I look up at the blonde who's just laughing at our awkward encounter.
He backs outs of the doorway and onto the sidewalk with me.
"What are you doing?" I ask him stuffing the list into my jacket pocket.
"It looks like you have errands to run, so I'm coming with you." He says in an almost proud voice.
"How'd you know I had errands?" I raise an eyebrow at him as we start walking down the corner.
"What do you mean how? Your Rudolph shopping list stuck out pretty badly in your hands." He laughs again as he opens up a small brown paper bag he had been carrying by his side.
"Besides I came to see you anyways." He pulls out a donut and offers it to me.
he wanted to see me?
"Oh no thanks, I'm trying to lose a few pounds," I say patting my stomach that felt quite empty.
"What?! Look at you y/n. Your stunning, and what harm could one donut do?" He waves the donut teasingly in front of my face as I stop in front of the first store I need to go into.
I look at him and how he's stopped waving the donut around instead had it still with puppy dog eyes staring directly at me.
