Something's Different

Y/N POV

It's been about two months now since Jareth and I admitted out love for one another and we both have been extremely happy together, he has been acting quite strange for the past week, I do hope he is alright. Anyway, today Jareth is taking me out into the Labyrinth and I must admit I am quite nervous about going in there, its very easy to get lost. I was in Jareth's and my room, and I was getting into a stunning silver dress with a beautiful belt with jewel encrusted moon and stars on the side. Once I checked myself out, I made my way to the garden to where Jareth was waiting for me.

When I entered the garden, Jareth was already out there waiting for me, he was dressed in his midnight black and blue outfit. He looked quite dashing in it. I walked up to him and was instantly greeted with a bouquet of beautiful roses. I accepted them with a huge smile, "oh Jareth, these are beautiful, thank you so much!" "My pleasure (Y/N)," he said with a small smile and blush. He then took hold of my hand and we started walking to the labyrinth.

The labyrinth was much more beautiful than I had expected it to be, I was stunned. I then heard a chuckle from Jareth, "I see you like my labyrinth." I turned to him, "Jareth its amazing, how did you ever create something like this?" I asked. "Well, I had always loved mind games as a young boy, and since I was never allowed to leave the castle, being a prince and all, I had to stay busy by doing a bunch of games alone," Jareth explained. I then felt bad for him, he has been alone from the time he was very young up until now. I flung my arms around him and held him close. He was stunned by my actions, but gently rested his head on top of mine and wrapped his arms around me. We were then interrupted by a loud howling sound. I looked at Jareth and he nodded, and went to check it out. I quietly followed behind him, when I suddenly felt two hands cover my mouth and pull me away.

Jareth's POV

(Y/N) and I heard a loud howling, I quickly went to see what was making the sound with (Y/N) right behind me, I looked around the corner to see that Ludo was tied up once again, I decided that it was time to be the good guy and get him out of there. "Ahhhhh, Ludo hurt," he said as I cut him down. He then howled at me, "now Bluto is that anyway to treat someone who just released you?" "Jareth help Ludo?" he asked. "Yes I helped you Ludo," I said. He then picked me up and hugged me in his hairy body, "you Ludo's friend," he cheered. "Put me down this instant, I command you to put me down!" I yelled in his hairy body. He then dropped me, I then turned to return to (Y/N), but she wasn't there, I then looked around for her, but there was no sign of her. "(Y/N)! (Y/N)!!!" I called out to her. I then heard some foot steps behind one of the walls, and saw (Y/N) come out. "(Y/N) there you are!" I exclaimed as I ran up to her. "Where did you go? Why would you leave me like that?" I questioned. "Oh uh, I was just frightened by that thing making the loud noise," she sputtered out. "Oh (Y/N) he is harmless, come on why not meet him," I insisted. "Ew no, I am good," she said with a disgusted look on her face, she was never one to be so rude like that! "Oh well ok then (Y/N), um can I talk to you for a minute?" I asked. "Oh sure Jerry- er I mean Jareth," she said with a sickening smile on her face. Hmm something must be off with her today, "Ok then," I responded. I then took hold of her hands, knelt down on one knee and pulled out a small box, "(Y/N) I know we haven't known each other long, but I feel like I can be myself with you, and I want to be able to spend the rest of my life with you, will you marry me?" I asked. "OH JERRY YES!!!," she cheered. "Really! Wonderful, um could you please not call me Jerry though," I said. "Oh but of course," she responded. I then slipped the silver ring on her finger, and we then made our way home, but I couldn't help but feel something was just off about her.

Y/N POV

I was currently tied up and gagged as (w.e.n) made her way back with Jareth. Yeah she and her parents, grabbed me, tied me up, forced me to watch everything and are now taking me back to their dungeon. "See, she told you she would be the queen, and now its coming true," they whispered harshly in my ear. All I could do was murmur in this stupid cloth tied around my mouth. They then took me by my arms and carried me back to their home. Please Jareth, please see past their lies and save me. I thought as I was kidnapped.
