I don't own the characters, setting, or movie, just the story idea :P
Y/N POV
Well it was just an ordinary day for your average college girl. My name is (Y/N) and I am studying to become a (career choice) at the (college of choice). I am in my second year of college and will be turning 20 in a few months. I live on my own, well unless you count my dog Star, and my cat Dusty. Get it? Star and Dusty? Stardust? Ahh such a great movie, lol. Anyway, my semester was over and I was heading to a local book store, I had a great love for reading, and wanted to find something new to read. I had read every book I own three times, I read a bunch of fan fictions online, and read all my favorites. As I entered the store I had instantly went to the fantasy section. I browsed the area for about 10 minutes until a book caught my eye. As I pulled the book off the shelf, I looked at the title, The Labyrinth, isn't that the name of a complex maze, I thought to myself. I quickly found a quiet couch to sit at and start reading.
*time skip*
I had been so caught up in the book that I didn't realize how late it had gotten. I quickly stood up to go pay for the book. The clerk at the counter smiled at me as I sat down the book to have it rung up for me. "Good evening dear, that is quite the choice for a book, it was brought in not too long ago by a woman named Sarah, said that it brought up some bad memories, whatever that means," the clerk said as he rang the book up for me. "Well Sarah's loss is my gain I guess, it truly is a marvelous book so far," I said as I smiled at the elderly man. "Alright dear that will be $10 please," the clerk told me. I quickly pulled out the money and thanked the clerk for the book.
My apartment wasn't too far from the bookstore so I started my walk home. As I looked up at the night sky I noticed something swoop down and land on the tree next to where I was walking, I looked up to see a beautiful white owl perched on the tree and he seemed to be looking right at me. I remembered I had packed a small snack that I never ate in my backpack for college. I quickly pulled out a (sandwich of choice) and the owl quickly perked up at the sight of it. I sat it next to him and he quickly began eating, and ever so slightly I brushed my hand past his wing. To which he turned his head back to me, he almost acted like he wanted me to pet him.
Just as I was about to start petting him, I heard a group of guys laughing hysterically behind me. I looked down the street and three guys were walking towards me. They were all stumbling and supporting each other up, obviously they were drunk, and I tried to quietly start moving away from the owl and hurry to the safety of my apartment before they noticed me. Sadly just as I had walked away from the owl, I heard the laughter die and I turned to see where they had gone. As I looked behind me, the three guys had big smirks on their faces and started moving faster towards me. Scared that something was going to happen I picked up the pace, until I felt someone grab onto my arm tight. I yelped as I was dragged to an empty alley. "Well, well, well boys, what have we here?" One of the guys who had one of my arms pinned to the wall said, his alcoholic breath hitting me in the face. "Looks like a moonlight beauty out for a stroll," the other guy holding my arm said, his breath just as strong as the other guy's breath. "Well what do you guys say we have some fun with this pretty little thing," the guy right in front of me said. I knew this wasn't going to end well for me, but I had to put up a fight. With as much force as I could, I swung my leg and kicked the guy right in front of me between the legs. He quickly dropped to the ground howling in pain. The other two so distracted by that, they loosened their grip enough for me to pull away and punch them both in the gut. They both bent over in pain, and that was my chance to escape.
I quickly tried getting out of the alley, but I suddenly felt my face make contact with the pavement. As fast as lightning I tried shooting up to run, but the guy I had kicked was holding tight onto my leg. I tried shaking him off before the other two could get to me, but it was no use. He soon pulled me over to him and sat on top of me. He quickly raised a hand and slapped me as hard as he could, which wasn't too hard considering he was quite drunk, but still enough to cause me to yelp. "You little... I am going to teach you a lesson you will never forget!" The guy that sat on me said. I started crying because there was no way I was getting out of this now. The guy on top of me quickly grabbed my face, making me look at him. He then bent down and planted a sloppy kiss on my lips. He then slid his tongue across my lips, to which I opened up and bit down as hard as possible on his tongue. He quickly retracted and looked like he was going to slap me again. I closed my eyes waiting for the impact and whispered," I wish the goblins would take me away right now."
