Chi's POV:
It was the day of the ball. It had been three weeks since we'd been on the island.
My stomach was in knots as Nami, Robin, and I got ready. We'd each bought beautiful dresses. Nami had been going on nonstop ever since I'd come to the thousand sunny.
I was quiet preparing myself for the night. I was going to win this bet.
I finished my make up and began taking the numerous curlers out of my hair.
My red hair cascaded down in waves. I was never good at actually doing my hair. My decision to keep long hair wasn't the smartest but I liked the way it looked. Usually I just threw it up but today called for more drastic measures.
"Are you almost ready?" Nami asked.
I turned around and smiled. "Almost."
"Oh Chi. You look beautiful."
My cheeks warmed. "Thank you so much Nami. You look very extravagant in your dress."

She looked off dreamlike. "Oh thank you Chi."

When we were all ready we stepped out to see those that were going ready in their suits. I had come over to the thousand sunny to be with the girls.
Luffy, Usopp, Sanji, and Zoro all looked very handsome in their tuxs.
Zoro looked uncomfortable in his. He was staring angrily off to the water. He had only one sword at his side.
Luffy looked umcomfortable as well but more like a child that simply hated wearing so much clothes.
"We're ready" Nami announced.
They all looked over. Sanji had a double nosebleed and fell back.
Luffy smiled at us. "You guys look great."
Nami ran and hit him on the head. "We look beautiful!" She growled. Robin and I laughed. She calmed down and calmly said, "and remember Luffy you're to be on your best behavior today."
"Yes Nami" he said rubbing his head.
I went to Zoro. "You look happy" I mocked.
He looked at me and pink rose over his cheeks. "Shut up" he muttered.
I locked my arm with his. "Be a gentleman and help me off the boat."
"Tch." He said but willingly helped me walk off the boat. "Never mention this" he whispered to me as we walked off.
I giggled. "Of course Zoro."

We had a wagon taking us to the mansion where the ball was being held. "Aren't you going to meet up with Law?" Luffy asked.
I shook my head. "I'm meeting him at the mansion. He's probably already there waiting for me."
As we rode I stared out and watched the scenery trail by.
My stomach tied up in further knots the closer and closer we got. Why did I feel so anxious about this? I didn't understand it.

Finally we pulled up at the mansion. We all got out and Zoro helped me again. He held my waist and picked me up before gently putting me on my feet. I smiled at him. "You know for a swordsman and a pirate you're very polite."
His cheeks turned pink again. "Shut up Chi" he groaned.
I giggled.
There was a noticeable intake of air.
I turned and there stood my captain. Law stood twenty feet away in a crisp black tux. He didn't wear his signature hat and had also gone without a tie or bow tie. His top two buttons were undone. He looked so fucking hot. I swallowed quickly. My stomach felt loosened from all the knots but now quivered like butterflies had been set free.
Who knew Law could clean up so well.

Law's POV:
Zoro helped Chi down from the wagon and I gasped. She looked so pretty. You wouldn't have guessed she was a pirate. She transformed herself to blend in with these wealthy people.
Her dress was a nude like gold that flowed to her feet with just a little gathered at the end. The front went to her neck but in the middle of her cleavage was a slit, giving a peek at her creamy soft breasts. And all over her dress were sparkling tiny jewels. They cast beautiful sparks as the lights hit them.
She looked at me and gave me a timid smile. Her hair was curled and let lose unlike how she usually pulled it up in a ponytail.
Wow.
She came over to me. Her black eyes sparkling like her dress.
"Hey" she said gently.
"Hi" I responded just as lowly.
"You look very nice" she said.
I have her a lopsided smile, "And you look beautiful."
Pink colored her cheeks.
