     I haven't been having the best days lately. I can't focus in school and my hockey game is suffering. All of this is stressing me out and making me a bad player, and ultimately, a bad person. I've been taking my anger out on everyone, including my boyfriend Dean. He's been trying to help me and cheer me up and all I do is yell at him and I feel so bad. I decided that I would get him something to show him that I'm sorry and that I love him, so I bought him some new t-shirts and a new set of headphones. I rode my bike to the park to find him.
     When I finally found him, I couldn't believe my eyes. He was sitting with some random girl and they were holding hands. Holding hands! He wouldn't ever hold my hand because he didn't like physical affection! I can't believe him. I decided that I'd do something about it. I stormed up to him and threw the t-shirts at him. "You piece of trash! I can't believe you'd do this to me! I know I haven't been the best girlfriend lately but come on!" He just stares at me. "I got you those t-shirts and a set of headphones, but I'm just gonna return the headphones because you don't deserve them!" He still sat there and the girl he was with almost looked like she was laughing. I walked closer to her and got in her face. "You think this is funny, do you? You want him to cheat on you just like he did me? Because I know he will!" She still stared at me, but I could see the smile on her face was gone.
     Before I could start yelling again I felt someone grab me from behind. I turned around to see Jesse, my best friend. "Y/n, he's not worth your time, lets go back home." I nodded but not before I punched Dean in the face. Jesse and I got back on our bikes and went to my house. As soon as we got in, I broke down. "I can't believe that happened. I really thought he loved me. I really did! And then he goes off and does that." Jesse hugs me. "He doesn't deserve you Y/n. You deserve so much more than him. You deserve someone that's going to love you and be with you no matter what. Someone... like me." After he said that I looked up at him. "You?" "This might be a bad time to say this, but I've had a crush on you forever now. I never wanted to interfere with your relationship with Dean because you loved him." I smiled and looked up at him. "Give me time Jesse, but I think I like you too."
