ASTRA HAD OFFICIALLY attended Little Ninjago School for a month.

And in that month, everyday had sucked for the explicit reason of little kids.

In all of her fifteen years, Astra had only ever met slightly tolerable children on Vareena because they were toughened by the conditions and lives there. Here, on Ninjago, these were the most stuck up, most prick like, most infuriating kids Astra had ever seen. However, because they were so poncy, all Astra had to do was kidnap their juice boxes so they would stop annoying her.

Unfortunately, Misako put a stop to that a week in but Lloyd carried on the new tradition in secret. Astra peered out of the kitchen window, halting the making of a new recipe she was trying out, a fish dish, to frown at the scene outside.

Kai and Nya were in another scuffle with a girl Astra knew was Tox. She recognised her from the airport and the multiple times she'd hung around this neighbourhood with a few cronies - Chamille, the girl with bright purple hair, and more recently, Morro.

Astra didn't know what he was doing hanging around her but it couldn't be good. His hair had grown out and he was wearing it in a man bun now, and he seemed...oily.. That was the best word she could think of to describe the way he seemed not like the Morro from before.

Abandoning the fish in favour of curiosity, Astra walked outside to either break up, encourage or film the argument.

"—what have we done to you? Just because we're all EK's doesn't mean—"

"We have a guest," Tox hissed, interrupting Kai's mad rant. Chamille gave Astra a nasty smirk which she reciprocated.

"Can you not argue on my front lawn? I'm trying to make dinner, but five big-headed idiots are squawking like meotha chickens." Astra said dryly, crossing her arms. She didn't look at Kai or Nya, who she hadn't spoken to in weeks since Kai's pod racing comment. Not because of that explicitly, but because the Jedi Academy was sucking up a lot of their free time. They barely spent any time in Little Ninjago, boarding up at the Academy.

"I'm sure you can churn butter or whatever it is you're doing, farmer girl." Chamille spat back.

Astra covered her undignified snort with her hand. "Real original, Chamille."

"Whatever. You know I'm not wrong though. Why are you even here? This neighbourhood is for Academy families, not mulch scum."

"My Pa's the headmaster," Astra captured Chamille's face in her mind, laughing openly at her gobsmack expression. How the purple-haired girl hadn't found out was strange, but Astra and Lloyd kept away from Academy kids.

"Master Garmadon?" Chamille spun around to jab a finger in Morro's face. "Why wouldn't you tell us that?"

Morro glanced at Astra through a curtain of long green and black hair. For a moment, she caught a glimpse of someone she'd known as more carefree - less oily. "Why would I tell you? Lloyd and Astra don't matter. C'mon, let's leave these First Tiers and get back to the Academy. It's pizza night, and we've got that assembly tomorrow."

Somehow, it was within that little speech that control transferred from Tox over to Morro. He didn't glance back and walked away, both of his new cronies turning away with him as they flounced towards the Academy, leaving Astra with Kai and Nya.

"So...how's Jedi-ing?" she asked awkwardly, wondering if it would be better for her pride to return to her fish.

"Chamille, Tox, and Morro are the worst of the worst. They're the bullies and the—" Kai paused to shudder with an overdramatic moan, "popular kids at the Academy. I haven't been able to eat lunch in peace for an entire month 'cause of those jerks!"
