The days were going merrily. Everyone except Rajeshwari ofcourse, were taking best care of Rani. She was strictly ordered not to enter the kitchen or do any work. All she has to do is to sit and take rest. Sometimes she gets grumpy over this but as always her Dakter Saab pacifies her and convinces to take care. She wasn't alone now. She had her kids, her Dakter Saab's kids with her. Needless to be said, day by day Veer's love and care increased.

One similar day they all were sitting together in the hall when Veer received a call from hospital.

Veer: hlo...yesss....what??....but abhi mai nhi aa skta.....you can assign some other doctor....I'll get back to you in some time.

Rani: Kya hua Dakter Saab

Veer: Rani ek patient hai unki surgery pending hai....now he has to travel, to wo chaahte hai kii unke jaane se pehle surgery ho jaaye.....for that I'll have to travel to AIIMS because yahaan aane se pehle I was practicing there....and mai aapko chhor krr nhi jaana chaahta

Rani: Hum akele thode na hai.....sab hai yahaan prr

Vikram: Bro bhabhisa ne sahi kahaa.....hum sab hai yahaan....aur aap jaldi se surgery krke aa jaana....2-3 din hii to lgenge

Veer: Prr Vikram....

Rani: Dakter Saab aap hii hume ek baar btaya thhe na kii jab aap daakter bne to aapne shapad(swear) lii thi ki chaahe kuch ho jaaye aap apne mareej ko nhi chhorenge.....aur to aur daakter to bhagwaan ka roop hota hai....aap chle jaaiye Delhi

When everyone reminded him of his duties he reluctantly agreed. But, he kept his conditions in front of Rani. What conditions ?? Well...they were 1) She will take best care of herself and like she trys to do work she won't do that. 2) She'll take her meds on time without throwing tantrums 3) Kumud will always stay with Rani and she won't stop Kumud from taking care of her.

When she heard these conditions Rani turned into a fussy kid.

Rani: Dakter Saab aap jaante hai na hum aapke bachpan ke kisse sunne bina dawaa nhi kha paate

Veer: Achha to yeh problem hai

She nodded like a cute kid

Veer: lekin iska solution hai.....mai meri rani ko video call pe kisse suna doonga. What say??

Rani: Hmm....phir theek hai

As he got her answer, Veer smiled and kissed her on her forehead
Blessed to have such a cute, childish yet mature and understanding soulmate.

The next day Veer left for Delhi and his return was scheduled day after tomorrow.

It was afternoon and everyone were in there rooms for the afternoon nap. When Kumud ensured Rani was asleep she went out to get Rani's meds from Veer's hospital. She was single handedly taking care of all this. Why not......somewhere she was her DIL too.

After sometime when Rani woke up and decided to have a walk in the garden.  She was descending the stairs she saw Rajeshwari sitting in the hall. Lost in how hurt rajeshwari is and the way she is ignoring them the oil spread on the stair got unnoticed by her.

As soon as she stepped on it she slipped and a loud scream was heard.
