Elseworlds - A Superflash Story

Going to Gotham Part 3

Kara and Barry woke up and immediately got in search of the man who changed reality in the first place.

Barry ran the sketch of the mystery man and identified that man to be Dr John Deegan. 

The trio was currently on top of the Wayne building since Kate told them that was the only place they could work out of.

Kara: "You really know your way with a computer." Kara told Barry as she saw him finding the mystery man through the computer.

 Barry: "I held my own after the singularity above Central city happened. Got him. John Deegan. " Barry pulled up the file from the GCPD database.

Kara: "Oh. Illegal experimentation, torture. Hmm. It seems like he was conducting experiments on his own patients' brains. Sounds like a real charmer." Kara was shocked as she looked through the profile.

Oliver: " We need to move now. Barry, Kara, let's go." 

Kara grabbed Oliver and launched into the sky while Barry sped to Arkham asylum. 

Kara arrived first, after which Barry followed.

Barry: " Before you brag, I came first, did a perimeter check and came back here." 

Kara: "Details"

Cisco, Caitlin and Diggle breach outside of Arkham Next to Barry, Kara and Oliver.

Cisco: "Hey guys."

Caitlin: " We found a way to reverse this problem. A flash from another earth breached into ARGUS and told us that the key to reversing Barry's situation is to find a book. 

Oliver: " That might be the book we saw in Cisco's vibe. "

Barry: " So what's the plan."

Oliver: " Barry and I will find Deegan, and the rest of you enter in for backup."

Barry speeds Oliver outside of John Deegan's cell.

Barry: "Oliver, look. John Deegan."

John Deegan: " The Flash and The green arrow! Haha! Whew. It's a genuine pleasure to meet both of you. Gentlemen, I was thinking, "Why did I not become the Flash?" And it seems to change reality itself; it's got a bit of a learning curve."

Barry: "Why did you do this to my wife and me and countless other innocent people? "

John Deegan: " This was supposed to happen according to the man who gave me the book."

Oliver: " Give us the book, and we will leave without causing any problems."

John Deegan: " You know what? I should change reality again and this time do it my way."

John takes the book from under his table, and as if on cue Kara and Frost come and blast him and the book out. 

Kara: " I'll take that," Kara says and takes the book from John Deegan and gives it to Barry.

Barry: " So should I just open the book and change reality," Barry asked Kara.

Kara: " I don't know. It didn't exactly come with an instruction manual, but that's what Deegan did in Cisco's vibe. "

Barry: " Oliver, you do it." Barry didn't think he could do it.

Oliver opens the book and is immediately teleported( Mentally ) to a mysterious place where he is standing on top of a white platform and is face to face with the man who gave Deegan the book in the first place. 

Monitor: " Oliver Queen."

Oliver: " Who are you?"

Monitor: " My name is Mar- Novu, but you can call me the Monitor. I am what you people refer to as god."
