Barry's thoughts went back to iris after hearing what Diggle said.

Flashbacks

Barry: I'm the Flash.

Iris: "See, that's what you don't get.

When I put this ring on my finger,

Barry: Iris West, will you Marry me? 

Iris: Yes, [laughs] yes, yes I will

Iris: How could you leave me? You left me, Barry, you just left me, standing there alone, how could you do that?

Iris and Eddie talk about their relationship after Eddie is saved from eobard thawne.

Iris: You are gonna end this relationship because some lunatic from the future told you that I am destined to marry Barry; well, I don't believe that okay, I believe that we choose our own destiny. I decide who I love, and I love you.

Six months after Barry entered the Speed Force, Joe, Cisco, and Wally miss him and want him back, but Iris is convinced he is gone. 

Cisco: I have had help. I consulted Harry and Tina and Tracy and Felicity and Curtis, and I'm pretty sure I figured out a way to stabilize the speed force prison and free Barry without creating a lightning storm over the city. I need a few things.

Iris: Cisco, he is gone.

Cisco: Iris, you of all people. How can you not be on this? We can bring- 

Iris: Because Barry is gone.

Barry realised that Iris did not care for him as much as he did for her. This wasn't a solid reason for not changing reality to how it was, though. He was knocked out of his trance by Oliver, who was waving his right hand against Barry. 

Oliver: " rry, Barry, BARRY." 

Barry: "Yeah, sorry, what were you saying." Barry replied, sitting on a chair in Oliver's cottage along with Diggle.

Oliver:" We've got Bratvas fighting Bertinelli's over in old Diaz weapons cache in the Glades. I want you to speed me and john there. We will go and get ourselves scanned." It was a good plan. They had to get themselves scanned to find out what happened to them.

Oliver: "We could really use some backup, Barry."

Barry: "Oh, man, I don't know if I'm feeling up for it."

Barry:" I think I just tweaked something." Barry came up with an excuse on the spot since he wanted to think about what he would do next.

Diggle: "A.R.G.U.S. rapid response is on another mission."

Diggle: "We're the only ones that can make it in time." Diggle finished in a serious tone, mostly because his child's gender had changed, again due to reality-altering shenanigans.

Barry: "Okay, yeah, I'm in." Barry gave up at the end as he noticed Diggle's Tone.

Oliver: " Suit up"
