Sam sat in front of the fire and slowly brushed Storm's fur.

"Sam it's a week until Christmas Eve.  Are you sure you don't want to go back home now.  It's been a couple of weeks since you left" sighed Olive.

Sam turned to look at Olive and her husband George sitting in their chairs.  "I know it has and I appreciate you putting me up at such short notice but I can't go back.  It would be too painful to have to listen to Temp talking to other women.  I'm just not strong enough for that."

"I had to ask" smiled Olive and George patted her hand.  "Now how about I rustle us up some breakfast.  I know you've been up for hours already Sam."

"I couldn't sleep and yes I am a little hungry.  Do you want any help?"

Olive shook her head.  "You finish what you're doing."  She kissed George's cheek and walked out of the room.

George leaned forwards and spoke quietly to Sam.  "Okay I want the truth.  Did you sleep at all?"

Sam shook her head.  "I kept seeing his face every time I closed my eyes."  A single tear rolled down her cheek and she quickly brushed it away.

"Oh honey why don't you just tell him how you feel?"

"I did and we both feel the same way but we can't be together."

George looked confused.  "I don't understand.  What on earth could stop two people being together if they both like each other?"

Sam put down the dog brush and turned to look at George properly.  "If I tell you something then I need you to understand and not fly off the handle."  He nodded at her.  "Have you heard of the A-team?"

"Olive get in here now dear" called George.

"What are you doing" hissed Sam.

Olive walked in drying her hands.  "What's wrong?"

"The A-team sweetheart."

"Wow that's a name I haven't heard in a while.  Why do you mention them now?"

"Sam knows something about them."

Olive sat back down in her chair.  "Sam?"

Sam sighed.  "Oh crap.  Well here goes.  The A-team are the friends of mine who are staying in my house.  Templeton Peck is the guy I came here to get away from and Hannibal Smith is my biological father.  The reason Temp and I can't be together is because he's a wanted man.  They all are."

Face sighed into the phone.  "Well thanks for trying Tawnia.  I guess it was a bit of a long shot.  Hey I'll call you when we get back to L.A. so have a good Christmas honey."  He hung up the phone and looked at Murdock.  "No joy buddy.  The guy was nothing to do with our unit."

Murdock patted Face on the shoulder.  "Sorry Facey.  I know you wanted better news than that."

"H.M. I haven't heard from her in weeks.  God knows where she is by now.  All I can do is hope she calls the van one day to let me know she's safe."  Face got up from his seat and hugged Murdock.  "I promise you buddy that one day I'm going to find what we need to be free.  It has to be out there somewhere."

Olive and George looked at each other without saying a word.

"Please say something even if it is 'pass me the phone so I can call the Military'" begged Sam.

"George go and get it" said Olive flatly.

"Sweetheart are you sure.  We haven't looked in there in years."
