Wai POV

*krrrrrrrgggggg*
*krrrrrrggggggg*

I stirred awake by the vibrations on my bed. It was my phone. I moved my hand to reach for it while I kept my eyes closed. I was able to grab the phone by the umpteenth time.

"He... llo?" I said with a yawn in between.

"Hey babe, sorry did I wake you?" Posh said concerned.

"It's okay..." I streched my arms as I sit upright. "I just took a nap. What's up?"

"Oh okay... Umm, I just received a message from our Chemistry Lab professor to remind our classmates to bring the materials needed for tomorrow's Laboratory experiments."

If I do recall, we will indeed have our laboratory class tomorrow.

"I already sent the reminder in our group chat. I was hoping you can buy the materials that we will need tomorrow because I'm still caught up with training." Posh added.

"That's all? Sure thing. What are the materials needed?"

"Vinegar, some antacid brands, and chewable vitamin C tablets."

Hmmmp. Acetic Acid, Anhydrous Sodium Hydroxide, Citric Acid. If I had to guess, our topic will be all about titration. It will make sense because we were taught how to prepare reagents in our last lab activity.

"Okay. Sure thing. I was planning to go to the mall to buy some refills for my techpen. I'll drop by the supermarket and pharmacy for those."

"Yes! Thank you babe! Just use the extension of my card to buy them."

"Alright. Also in exchange for this errand, you will treat me dinner at the mall." I teased. I was really not serious about it because I really didn't want him spending too much but...

"That's all? No problem! I'll see you at the mall later."

"I'm just kidding Posh you don't have to--"

"I gotta go, coach is calling for me. See you later at the mall. Love you!"

"But Posh wait--" the line got cut.

I sighed. Oh well, he'll probably splurge on me later. So it's better to be a hindrance to him in person than on the phone. I got up the bed, took a quick shower, dressed comfortably then made my way to the mall.

I first went to the supermarket to buy vinegar. We bought in bulk the last time we bought our groceries but we had one of those big jugs of vinegar so it will be bothersome to bring that to the lab. I remembered seeing one in small stand-up pouches. I bought a couple, just in case. It's so convenient that it fits inside the mailman bag that I brought with me.

Next, I proceeded to the pharmacy nearest the cashier. This is what I love withtgese new supermarkets. They all have what you need in just one place. I bought 3 brands of antacids in triplicates for our experiment. I hope it will be enough.

Lastly, for my own errand, I went straight to the bookstore that doubles as a school and art supplies shop. I requested for ink refills at the counter when someone caught my eye.

Queen Beam.

He was reading the preview of a book in the Mystery/Thriller section. Wow! As usual, he was glowing. He just brightens the room wherever he goes. He returned the book and moved on to the Literary section where he scanned the front covers then grabbed another book. His face pouted and he looked so cute. He was probably unaware that he was doing that subconsciously. It's so amusing to just watch Queen Beam. Everything he does is regal, graceful, and--
