I closed the SOTUS group chat as more students saw the video and began spamming the chat with "Hail Queen Beam!".
A few weeks ago, I called for a meeting of the Engineering Student Council (ESC) or the Royal Court.
Our ESC composition is unlike any other in our University. If the other councils have positions such as president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and public relations officer, in Engineering, we have the Head Hazer as the sole recognized so called "officer". He has full authority on all matters concerning all Engineering students. Academics, discipline, programs, events, policy making, organiations, among others. You name it, the Head Hazer is accountable for it.
Another difference is that the position of Head Hazer is not won through elections but earned through confidence vote. Candidates are chosen by the Dean and the Faculty but it is up to the student body to approve the candidate.
Chosen representatives from each sector will give their confidence vote and to be proclaimed as the Head Hazer, you need to be approved by ALL sectors.
Why? Remember the U in SOTUS? It means UNITY. So if one sector does not approve, it will not a united front, the candidate is deemed to be unfit to be Head Hazer.
The Head Hazer is the primary symbol of SOTUS. If he/she cannot have all students to bow down to his/her leadership, it's not a shining example of the spirit of SOTUS.
That said, since our Head Hazer is more muscle and less of a thinker. It was up to Tul and I to keep the system working. Don't even ask me about Park and Max.
Just... don't.
Tul and I created this year's ESC Constitution. This effectively made us a Constitutional Monarchy, with the Head Hazer as the King.
Composition of the Royal Court are as follows:
1. King
2. Generals - Hazing Team
3. Wolf Commanders - Leaders of the Male students per year
4. Chief Tiger - Leader of the Female students from first to fifth year
5. Flower Court Mistress - Leader of the effems and Ladyboys from first to fifth year
