We just finished our last class of the day at exactly 12NN. First year Electrical Engineering students have it easy as all our subjects are only from 7AM until lunch time. Kinda hard to wake up at such an early hour to go to school but it's well compensated on the fact that you will be productive for the rest of the day.

"I'll just take a leak, then we'll grab lunch after." My boyfriend Posh said to me once we came out of the classroom.

"Okay, I'll just wait for you here." I replied and sat at the bench just across our room.

"Okie dokie! I'll be quick." He pinched my cheek before he ran off. My gaze trailed after him until he entered the restroom.

Posh and I belong to the same major. We've been dating since high school and it was mutual decision to enroll in KU. But it was a big coincidence that we were assigned in the same class. Not that I'm complaining though, it was huge a blessing for me.

I scanned the general area of our building. Quite a number of students were walking about after exiting their classrooms. Their class ended too, I guess. Others were entering those rooms that have been vacated. They are probably just starting their day.

I can't believe I'm already in my second term as an Engineering student. Everything so far has been a blast. Though there was this instance that scared the hell out of me, but it still ended well because I'm part of Engineering.

I'm a bit introverted so it was a great help that I have Posh with me in this new environment in the University. But it was not all because of him that I was able to adjust so easily.

It's because of our seniors.

To be exact, the camaraderie that they instilled to us in SOTUS created a strong bond to most of my batch. Above all, the feeling of being under the wing of our seniors made me at ease. There's this feeling that I belong in this kingdom reigned by our king, P'Forth.

I thought engineering was a scary place because of their rumored reputation for barbaric tendencies. But I have come to understand that this was due to their herd mentality. They protect their own. No one is left behind because everyone is being taken care of. Of course, that is if you chose become part of the kingdom.

Posh and I did. So did the rest of our batch.

My boyfriend may look all brawns and no brains but don't let his muscled body and goofy smile fool you. He is smart and quite charismatic. He was elected as the representative for our class in matters pertaining to the kingdom. He's the Wolf representative for first years in the Royal Court, KU Engineering's version of student council. Plus, he was accepted in KU in an Athletic scholarship.

I was snapped out of my musings when my face was drizzled with water droplets.

"Wuy! What are you spacing out for?" Posh exclaimed after shaking the excess water from his wet hands to my face.
