(Your Pov)

After a while I decided to come out from where I was hidden. I assumed Tommy had gone considering the shouting had stopped.

Luckily I was correct but I was faced with a technoblade standing determined outside Phil's door. I had to look up to see his eyes piecing into me. He stood tall, showing off he was stronger than me in that moment.

"We need to talk." He said to me harshly.

"Techno..."

"No. You're going to tell me why everyone is so scared of you." He was angry I could tell.

"I-"

"no. No more avoiding this. Its been two weeks and I've only just been told your name!" He shouted."I saved you, welcomed you into my home and you say absolutely nothing for nearly three weeks!"

"Techno mate. Calm down" Phil said approaching.

"It's okay Phil. He's right." I finally spoke a full sentence. There was no hiding technoblade intimidated me. I didn't want to find out what saying no to him would do, the look on Phil's face gave me a clue.

"Can we go...somewhere else to talk?" I asked cautiously. Techno didn't reply just simply nodded letting me lead the way to wherever I wanted to go. I smiled at Phil politely before heading off towards the ocean where he first found me.

I followed her, for what felt like forever. She walked without confidence, stepping over branches in the snow. It was warm out, not too warm where the snow melted but warm enough to go on a walk like this.

She stopped on the bank. I slowly approached taking the spot next to her. I didn't speak a word, encouraging her to start this conversation.

"They all hate me." She said with some sort of sadness in her voice. A sadness I never really seen before.
Again I stayed quiet. It was her time to talk.

"I betrayed them all, they have every right to want me dead. In fact I don't even know why I'm running." She seemed so certain of her words. What ever she did she thought she deserved everything coming to her. Which worried me.

"Anyway you want to know why. Which is fair." I watched as she took a seat. Her hands brushed the cold water. I hesitated before sitting opposite.

"I'll start from the beginning. When I was around 16, I began wandering. Walking for what felt like forever. I had no family, no home. I would camp in villages some abandoned, some not. One day a guy named dream found me, half dead in an abandoned village. I hadn't eaten in a while and just needed something.
He was nice, offered me some of his steak and I took it. He offered me salvation, told me there was a town named lamanburg that would take me in. It was exactly what I needed.
Little did I know, dream wasn't planning on being my friend. He used my vulnerability to do his dirty work. He made me bond with everyone he knew he couldn't. Made them trust me. And I loved them, I grew in love with them all. Dream didn't like that though. He had put so much into me he couldn't risk losing me.
So he started to kill me. Over and over again. But...he revived me each time. Only when he needed me though." She paused to breathe. I Sat in awe for a second.
"I grew up in what felt like a void, you age differently there. I spent so long just...gone. With people I didn't know, bad people.

whenever I was here, in the real world dream made me do shit. Betray people and it always hurt. I never was here longer than two days it was too risky. After lamanburg blew up and dream was finally arrested. He told them all about me. All of them found out what I had been doing to protect them. It was painful to see their trust and loyalty in me leave. I decided I was going to run. I didn't want to spend forever with dream. And my only choice was to leave."

She seemed exhausted recalling everything she'd been through in such a short amount of time.

"They're mad you worked for dream?"

"Mmmhmmm" She nodded.

"You were his supplier?"

"Yep. He couldn't get the weapons needed without raising concern but I could."

"He spoke highly of you to me and philza once. He never spoke much in detail but we knew he wasn't working alone." I replied.

"Techno...I'm not a bad person. I did bad things. But it was to protect them, I limited the damage dream did! I swear he would of done so much worse if I didn't keep 'fucking up' his plans!" She looked like she was about to cry. Her skin went pale and her eyes distanced from me. She was willingly being vulnerable, for someone who was scared of me she seemed to be comfortable enough to trust me.

I couldn't believe I was about to cry infront of techno. His eyes were no longer cold, they were more concerned. I hadn't told anyone anything about dream, philza knew but that's different. Techno was terrifying but something about him said I could trust him.

"Phil was right about you Aphrodite."

"Huh?" I asked confused.

"He could sense loss in you, but the loss was greater than anything else he'd felt. It's because you lost yourself over and over again isn't it?"

"I guess so?" I laughed a little. Made sense. I never knew I radiated Loss before.

"Aphrodite-"

"y/n." I finally corrected.

"I know. Anyway...you are welcome to stay here. As long as you need." I had no idea why he still insisted on calling me that but I smiled sweetly at him. His offer of letting me stay made me feel warm.

"Thank you techno...I appreciate that." I replied finally after gathering my thoughts.

"Let's head back." Techno said coldy. He was back to being himself as he helped me off the cold ground.

Was I really about to make a new home for myself? A fresh start?
