(Your Pov)

It had been a few nights since I had hurt techno. We hadn't seen each other since.
I had begun to sneak out once everyone was asleep returning before they woke. I didn't go far, sleep just wasn't an option anymore. When I did sleep I woke more tired then before I closed my eyes. It was a waste of time.

As night fell I made my usally depart from technos sofa.  I walked up the hill at the back of his land, sitting on the bench I had built a few days ago.
The sky was beautiful out here. All the colours possible flooded the sky as the cold air blew around me. Stars were the only source of light.

I sat taking in the view. I'd seen It a few times now but each time felt the same, breathtakingly beautiful. It was like I could never get use to it.

I watched the moon change position throughout the night helping me keep track of time. My mind was empty here. It was like I got more rest staring at the sky then actually sleeping.

I hadn't heard someone approach, but I felt the weight shift on the bench. I looked to my left to see techno sat there. His robe rapped around him. His hair lose and free. Id never  seen him with his hair down before.

He didn't speak but neither did i. We sat that way for a few moments longer before the cold air came on strong. I hadn't noticed but my body shivered in reaction. Techno pulled off his robe before placing it around my shoulders. He still didn't speak, I stared at him for  a few seconds.

"Techno?" I asked. My voice quiet.

"Hmm?" He replied. His eyes didn't move from the sky above.

"What are you doing?" I said.

He shrugged.

(Technos Pov)

I had noticed Aphrodite sneaking out during the night. She'd been doing it for a while. I wasn't sure why but I felt like it wasn't my place to ask. She never went far, just up the hill. I could watch from my bedroom most nights. But one night I felt the need to know why.

After a few hours I had followed her out. I simply say next to her not saying a word. The silence was comfortable. I could tell she was cold she I gave her my robe without hesitation. She seemed confused by my silence even though it was a normal thing for me.

It was as if she wanted me to speak. Ask her why. But I didn't. I needed her to trust me.

"Thank you for the robe." She said after a few minutes of silence. I nodded polity. The sky was beautiful at night.

"The moon is beautiful isn't it." I finally spoke. I watched her eyes turn to me. But I didn't return the look. She hummed in agreement before returning to the sky.

We did this for a few nights. I'd sit by her side in silence until the sun began to rise. She never questioned me. Infact she got use to the silence, took it as time to rest. Sometimes she fell asleep on my shoulder, sometimes she'd head back inside.

We continued this for a week. I felt like it brought us closer. In some weird twisted way.

"Techno." She said as another night began. We were sat on her bench. A scarf wrapped around her neck to keep her warm. I sat in my usual outfit enjoying the cold air.

"Hmm?" I replied.

"Can I ramble?" She questioned. I finally took my eyes off the moon for the first time in a week. I looked down at her, she was finally willing to open up to me. I nodded before returning my eyes to the sky.

"I'm finding ways to drown it out. The voice in my head telling me I'm not worth it.
I'm lost and might be never found." She said calmly.

"I was above it all. At one point I was loved. I had friends people I could go to. But now I just have the sky. And half of me. There was so much I wanted to do." She laughed to herself.

"Are we not friends?"

"Techno. Friends speak to each other." She replied. I could hear the sweetness in her voice.

"What was it you wanted to do?" She laughed again. I could see her cheeks turn red from thinking about it.

"Well." She began."I always dreamt about love. Dancing with someone, stargazing together. My first kiss. Someone who saw me even though I couldnt." Her voice trailed off before she could carry on.

"I've always dreamt about a best friend." I said turning to face her. She was taken aback by my comment.

"A best friend? What about Phil?"

"He's more than a friend. I don't trust people enough to open up so I will never have the close relationships people die over."

"Well that's a you problem techno." She laughed again. Her laughed made me smile.. I grabbed my heart pretending to be offended by her comment.

"Ouch."

"Thank you." She spoke through the silence that followed her joke.

"What for?"

"Being my friend." She whispered.

"thought I had to speak to be a friend."

"Well yeah it would be helpful but I was joking. I enjoy spending time with you tech. These last few nights. They've helped a lot."

Tech...

"You're welcome Aphrodite." I smirked. She simply shoved me playfully.

"Idiot." She muttered.
