Y/n Pov:

There was nothing I wanted more than to feel a warm fire against my shivering skin. It had been about 2 weeks of running now. Not stopping anywhere for two long because they always seemed to find me.
I had managed to piss of every living person here, I betrayed them. Rightfully so they want me dead or at least locked up. I'd hurt so many of my friends to what cost.

As the moon raised over the ocean infront of me I took my bag off my back, pulling some steak and a sword from it. If I was going to rest for the night there, I needed to be prepared for the worst.
I sat myself down under the only shelter I could find, it was an entrence to a dead end cave. It would do for now.
I could start a fire but that would be too risky. The smoke would give away where I was and it doesn't help that I had somehow ran straight into a snow desert. Inches of snow covered every surface. The trees seemed older here, and the mountains steeper. The water was impossible to swim in so I was land stuck for a while.
"I deserve nothing more" I would tell myself, it was true. I got myself into this situation I have to ride out the lows.

As I sat under the darkening cave I griped my sword slightly tighter, well at least I thought I did. The feeling in my hands was weak, my body was fighting off the cold the only way it knew how. By Giving up.

I fought to stay awake, I couldn't give in. I couldn't show my weakness in this time. All that running could not end with me being caught because I couldn't stay strong enough.

I decided to get up, if anything is going to help pacing would. I walked the length of the cave, back and forth. My bag back where I was sat, I stopped for a minute to take a breather. It was suffocating for some reason, maybe the tight dark space wasn't ideal for me.

A quick drink of water should of fixed it, I walked towards the ocean I was sat infront of. I slowly got on my knees to keep my balance before scooping some water into my hands, it was absolutely freezing.

I gulped some down before I could realise what was happening, it was around 2am. The cold weather only got stronger. My body wasn't equipt to deal with this much pressure right then. It had been through so much already, I just kept pushing it to the limits. I couldn't stop.
As I swollowed the last drop of water my eyes grew hazy, I couldn't see a few steps infront of me. My hands no longer my own as my mind switched off.

I woke up a few second later, my hair wet and my clothes were gone; Well the thick layers I had chucked on were. The only thing left was my dress I had cut and sewed to be better for fighting. I could feel My hands again, actually they were rosy red from heat.
Heat.
I rolled over onto my side to see a fire set infront of me. My head rested on a wodden floor. I had no idea where I was, the only thing I could see was the fire infront of me and a dim glow around the room I appeared to be in.
Fuck I'd be caught.
Was my first thought, but no restraints. I could see my bag on top of the chest that was next to the calm fire.

I decided not to move, I had wished for this fire too much to waste the time I had infront of it. Plus my body was to achy to actually move in that moment anyway.
The moon was still outside as far as I knew, the room was too dark for it to be day when windows sat on a few of the walls.
I layed on my side for a bit longer until I finally drifted off to sleep. For once this was real rest, deep sleep. I had no idea why but I felt safe where I layed.

(you're dreaming right now)
"look, I don't care who you love or why you love them. You're going to do as I say. no questions about it.
I'm where your priorities lay. Got it?"

"But...please I can't keep doing this to them."

The figure pulled back his fist before punching it straight into your face before taking a kick to your knees making you fall to the floor.

"GOT IT?"

"YES YES...PLEASE JUST STOP HURTING ME PLEASE!" You screamed at the figure.

I woke up suddenly, causing pain to shoot through ever inch of my body. I was out of breath and my throat soar.

"Hey, hey are you okay?" A voice said above me. I rolled onto my back to see a tall muscular man squatting off to the side of me. His hair braided neatly and a crown resting firmly on his head. His eyes deep and dark but not welcoming. His words seemed genuine but his face seemed closed, scary even.
I let out a sigh as I realised who was above me.
