My eyes fluttered open, and I instantly realized this wasn't my room. I gasped and bolted up, shock overtaking me. My head spun wildly as I looked around, and sighed with relief that it wasn't any place horrible like some mutant lab. It was a plain white room with a black door and two white cabinets, along with a white bed, with a black blanket. There were to lights hanging from the ceiling, but no windows.

I gulped, and slipped out of bed. I got to my feat, which felt like Jell-O. My legs almost collapsed underneath me, apparently it had been a few days. I grunted and grabbed the bed beside me, using it support my weight. I tried again, and this time I managed to lift myself off the ground. I took a few steps carefully, and discovered that I could walk more easily.

I sighed with relief, and only then did it occur to me to check what I was wearing. I looked down to see I was dressed in a black outfit, with a black helmet on my head. Suddenly a voice said in my ear, "Hello, I am Bit, your helpful guide to this new world."

I jumped with surprise, and if the whatever it was had seen it happen, he or she or it said, "don't worry, I'm just a guide. Now, let me explain what is happening." I looked around the room to find no obvious cameras or microphones, and then made me check the corners for tiny cameras.

"There are no cameras in your room" Bit or whatever his name explained, "this suit is constantly monitoring your actions and thoughts, but only I - Bit - can access it."

That was a relief, but also kind of creepy. What if I personal thoughts?

"I have some filters that make sure I only get some, and not the ones you wish to keep secret. Though if my filters pick of key words like murder, for example, I will look deeper. Do you understand?" Bit said.

"Um... yes?" I stammered.

"Great!" the weirdly cheerful voice exclaimed. "Now, let me explain this too you. You are in a high-tec simulation were you will be tested on many things such as loyalty and other things which I will not get into, because it is so complicated, and might be hard for you to understand. Anyways, you will be given a role which you will be given rules for. There are too roles, Imposter and Crewmate. The instructions with appear in three seconds on your flatscreen directly in front of your bed."

I looked towards the wall opposite of my bed, and saw that a large flat TV was covering almost the entire wall. On that screen there was a blue background and rules for how to do this simulation. I read them over carefully twice, before I said, "okay, I got it."

"Great!" the annoyingly cheerful voice cried again, "now go meet your other friends!"

"Wait - other friends?" I asked, just as the black double-door slid open. I gulped. I didn't know there were gonna be other people in this simulation with me.

"Yes, there are other people. You didn't think you were doing this alone?" Bit asked, giggling. Then before I could answer, there was a click and a whiirr.

"Day 1 of Among Us begins" a robotic voice said in my ear. "You can take off your helmet, there is enough oxygen in the hair to sustain human life now."

I walked into the hallway and took off my helmet. My hair was released from the helmet and tumbled down my back. I breathed in the air, which smelled stale and horrible, like plain hair. I sniffed with digust. I turned around too see the black door was closed. I looked down the hall. The hall was long, with nothing other than 8 other doors, each color-coded and with a keypad. There were 8 other people standing in the hallway, each apparently had gone through the same thing as me.

I looked and saw cyan, green, pink, yellow, and other colors. Not knowing what to do we all just stared at each other, unsure of were we each stood. Suddenly Pink broke the silence.

"So.. are we just gonna stand here or are we gonna go find some food, because I don't know about you guys, but I'm starving" he said. My stomach grumbled. I suddenly realized I was starving, so I nodded.

"Yeah, I'm hungry too, does anyone have a map?" I asked. There was suddenly 9 loud beeps from each of our helmets. I put mine back on, and the screen of my helmet instantly produced a map for me to follow. I couldn't see with the map on so I asked it too project from the top. I had no idea it could, but I decided to give it a go. It worked, so I took of my helmet, just as it folded into a tiny little tablet sized object. The other's took of there helmets and stared in astonishment at me.

"How did you do that?" Orange asked. I shrugged.

"I just asked it to project it from the top" I explained.

Using the map the herd of us all went to the cafeteria, me in front since I had the map. My helmet, or tablet, helpfully gave the code to the cafeteria. I typed in the code: 2435242. The doors slid open, and I stepped inside.
