"Come on, Amelia, get changed! We're going to the park!" Amelia's mom shouted from the kitchen. Amelia stood up and swept away the grass that stuck to her pants. She rushed to the front door with Duncan on her heels.
"Woof! Woof!" He barked. What was all the excitement about? Soon, Amelia emerged from the bathroom wearing her favorite long red pants with a grey top. A long piece of grey cloth was tied loosely around her neck. Duncan barked. As if he wanted to tell Amelia that her outfit was nice. She took a hairband and pulled her blonde hair into a ponytail. Slipping on a pair of socks, Amelia went down the stairs. Duncan ran after Amelia loyally.
"I'm ready!" Amelia called to her parents. They too were ready and changed.
