"How about chocolate 🍌 bananas?" Mom appeared at the kitchen island carrying two plates of sliced bananas, with generous amounts of chocolate syrup draped on to them.
"Cool! Thanks!" Brenda picked up a fork eagerly as the plate was placed before her,"Your mom makes the best food!" Brenda said in between mouthfuls.
"Oh look at you!" Mom said, laughing happily at the sight of Brenda. I giggled too, she had chocolate syrup all over her mouth! Mom handed her a napkin. Hurriedly, Brenda wiped away the chocolate, turning slightly pink.
"Thanks, mom." I said as she took away the plates,"I guess we'd better get started." Brenda as I hopped off the wooden stools and grabbed the stack of posters that were sitting at the corner.
