After finally getting to sleep, Edward wakes up in the middle of the night to Y/N on the floor. next to him, it looked like he had fallen out of bed. he wasn't going to wake him. this was too much of a perfect moment for him. to finally get closer. Edward carefully wraps his arms around Y/N and pulls him closer to his body, trying to keep all the warmth in so he doesn't wake up. he snuggles close to Y/Ns still damp neck, either wet with sweat or the shower. whichever it was Edward didn't mind. he gently lay kisses down on the back of Y/Ns unconscious neck. feeling something swell inside of him. he liked it so he kept his mouth connected to Y/Ns neck.

After the talk he had with Peg the other day, he was adamant that Y/N liked him back but it was only him who was feeling the falling in love symptoms because that's apparently how it works.

Y/N tries to stretch out but finds his arms are stuck to his side. he Edward right behind him. Why was he in his bed!?!? he moved around a bit more and noticed his back was really sore. he pulled his arms up and woke Edward up doing so, he sat up, rubbed his eyes and looked back.

"good morning," Edward said as he smiled up at a drowsy Y/N. he slowly rubbed the flat side of his scissor on Y/Ns arm. Y/N thought he was being kind of creepy. "Morning..." they shuddered and stood up, stumbling as they grabbed a shirt and trousers, he speed-walked to the bathroom without saying another word to Edward. Edward was confused. he knew they were starting to get  d̶i̶s̶t̶a̶n̶t̶  shy around him, but he thought that was because he was starting to like him. him 'falling on the floor couldn't have been a coincidence right? Edward had started to form a plan recently on how to fall into Y/N bed. but that meant falling upwards, defying all the laws of gravity

Edward stood up and instantly went to the bathroom. he stood outside the door. took a Depp breath and pushed the for some reason the unlocked door and looked into the eyes of Y/N who had just finished changing.

"Edward, what are you doing?" Y/N started edging towards the door that Edward shut.

"Y/N I think love you." he didn't think it. he knew he loved him.

"Woah... Woah Woah, Edward-? um... I don't know how to say this but... You're a cool guy- I guess- I just-" Edward cut him off by walking up to him and holding his hands up slightly.

"then I don't see why we can't be together." Edward insists

"because-" he flinched when Edward moved his hands again." it's just I don't like you like that, and" Edward cut him off again.

" Because you're scared of me" Edward looks into Y/NS eyes while they look at his scissors.

"I'm not gonna hurt you!!! I don't want to hurt you!!!" Edward grabs Y/N's arms with his palms, he leans forward and kisses him on the lips, he tries to use his tongue, like he was in one of Y/NS's weird magazines, trying to impress him again.

Y/N struggled but managed to move away, he slapped him and shoved Edward off of him and ran to the door. Edward stood still. registering what just happened.
