Applause rings out in the audience.

"Quite a story, Yes? any questions for Edward?" the host asks.

"yes? let me come over to you- and here we are what's your question ma'am?"

"What been the best part of your new life here in town?" she asks.

"The friends I've made." the crown Awes and smiles at how sweet and down to earth, he is.

"any other questions?"

"Have you ever thought of corrective surgery? or prosthetics? I know a doctor that might be able to help you" she says sweetly. his interest is caught and he answers.

"I would like to meet him" 

"That's very kind, we'll get that name after the show. That's so nice"

"another question-"

"But if you ha regular hands- you'd be just like everyone else"

"I would like that-"

"I think that's what he's aiming for," the host says but is interrupted

"But you wouldn't be special! you wouldn't be on tv or anything!" Peg answers for him this time

"No matter what Edward will always be special" they all awe again, and clap.

The host walks to another lady who seems eager to ask her a question.

"Do you have a girlfriend?" everyone laughs at her cheeky comment, but also wants to know the answer.

I'm sitting with Jim and Kevin.

"not a girlfriend. but a boyfriend right?" he jokingly nudges me, I roll my eyes the Kevin laughs

"Hah! you are Edward are gay-"

"Now you got him started" I shake my head. Jim backtracks and shoves Kevin

"Shut up bubble butt," Jim says

"You started it!" Kevin retorts

"SO?!"

"So. how about it Edward, is there some special lady in your life?" the host says

The camera pans on Edward for a long while. I can feel his eyes burning through the screen. I know he's looking at me. I close my eyes. and listen, waiting for the dreadful sounds. since im assuming he doesn't know or understand that being Gay is disgusting to anyone whos watching who isn't gay.

suddenly I hear a zap and a crash. I open my eyes to see Edward had touched the microphone and had gotten shocked, his chair falling backwards. I let out a huge laugh and Me and Jim fall backwards pissing ourselves.

"Oh god that was hilarious-" I stop "WHY WERENT WE TAPING IT!"

"FUCK! I'd give my left nut to see that again"

"Aren't you excited? Oh, this is just so thrilling. Wait till I show it to you. It's just perfect. It's just what we've been looking for. I want to call it "Shear Heaven." Here we are!" they stand outside of the store for a moment when She pulls Edward in with her.

 "Now, all along here I'm going to put a row of new mirrors- Eddie, come along Doll," she orders. "Back up here a whole row of new cosmetics. All along this row here."  Edward mimics her by spreading his arms majestically, she starts to lose her patience and drags him with her.

 "Peg could sell cosmetics." He says eagerly.

 "Sure. This is where I stand when I greet the customers. Back in here is what I really want to show you." she says excitedly, she grabs Edward from looking at the hair machines and takes him to the backroom. 

"This is the storeroom for supplies. What I need from you today is to help me make a decision." she looks at him and sees him about to poke an electric box. "Don't, Hunny that's dangerous. You just sit down right there." she takes him and pushes him into the chair, he falls back and looks uninterested.

" I have some smocks. Would you like me to model them?" he doesn't really know what to say so he says yes. she seems pleased. she turns around and taps her 

"This is my favourite because it's yellow. And what it's for is to catch itchy little trimming that falls down your neck~" she says sensually, flowing it around herself. then she grabs a plan one Then there's this old purple one, you know, you kind of drape around you like this~" 

 "I like that one,"  he says looking around awkwardly

 "oh But Eddy~ You're trembling. So am I. I've been waiting for this moment for so long~" she leans over him. and he seems frozen. she brings her hand to his scissors and makes him cut a button off her top, she then makes him unzip her shirt, her chest now exposed in black lingerie. his eyes widen. she leans forward to kiss him, then all of a sudden the chair falls backwards, she screams in shock and falls to the ground, Edward gets up and leaves, feeling disgusted and like he betrayed Y/N for almost letting that woman's sexual fantasy happen.

 Joyce opens the curtain, not bothering to zip her top back up. "Edward! Edward, you come back here! You can't do that!" she screams after him.
