Y/N ran into the kitchen. He didn't know what to do. He was now sharing rooms with a weird scissor-handed pervert who was in love with him. Well, apparently in love with him.

"Oh. Hello dear. Since it's Saturday I'd like you To go out with Edward and accompany him with the gardening. Won't that be wonderful!" Y/N inhales. Thinking of any excuse to get out of it

"And no excuses dear, I'm doing a Saturday clean-up so I need the house empty!" Y/Ns mother says cheerfully. Y/N nodded his head dutifully. Peg leaves and Y/N waits in the living room waiting for Edward, hoping he would act as if nothing happened.

After a while Edward walks into the room"Hi Y/N." he says smiley.

"Hi... I have to take you gardening or whatever. Mum doesn't trust the women with you" I roll my eyes. he nods happily. I walk out the door and lead him to the other side of the street.

"I really dunno why I have to be here..."

"I am happy you're here Y/N," He says walking faster to be next to me

"I'm sure you are..." I move away slightly. I let him walk up to Karen and she lets him get started on her raggedy bush. she waves at me and offers me a lawn chair while I wait for him to finish. Karen's dog, Alexis runs up to me and lies at my feet.

I pat her furry head and after a while, I get an idea.

"Hey... Edward..." He directs all his attention to me.

"Yes Y/N?" he looks at me.

"I was wondering... since your pretty good with your hands... maybe you could give this doggo a haircut?" I grin. He's probably gonna get in trouble. I know it's kind of mean and petty, but I don't want to be near him...after the k i s s e d me...

"of course!" he says happily. yikes. I don't like how 'obedient' he is. weirds me out.

He starts snipping away at the dog's fur, random parts left long and round while he cut right to the skin on the rest. I think Karen noticed something because of the hair flying around.

I grin as she comes out from behind the bush.

"Oh...my... Gawd... Is that Alexis?!? This can't possibly be my Alexis?!?" She seems mad-

"She looks so beautiful!!!" She beams. I stand up shocked next to Edward. he puts an arm around my back and hugs me "Thanks Y/N!" he whispers while he squeezes me. My eye twitches.

Apparently, news got out that Edward was a professional dog groomer. so every lady in town had brought their dog to our garden and is asking for Edward. Luckily I'm at school so I don't have to deal with it.

"Mum im home-" Y/N recoils in surprise... "What up with your hair???" He says bluntly, she doesn't notice cause she is on the phone and smiles "Edward cut it" Edward smiles proudly, hoping Y/N would be proud of him.

"Aah. I see." Y/N nodS, Trying to silently back out into his room but mum waves him over to sit down... He sighs and sits next to her, and away from Edward.

"Hello? I can't believe im talking to you in person!" His mum states. I watch Edward dips his scissor into one of the tubs of cream, he smells it and then dips another scissor. mum finishes the call.

"No wonder she's the head of the company!" She says admirably.

"She had some ideas?" Edward says, talking about how to cover his scars.

"mhmm." Y/N stands up and leaves before his mum tells him to stay, Y/N can practically hear his disappointment.

I and Jim stand outside of my house. I am scrambling through my backpack, looking for my keys.

"You got it?"  Jim peers over my shoulder into my bag

"No- ugh I can't believe this-!"

"This is such a drag."

I hear a car stop on the path in front of my house. I look over and see Helen dropping off Edward. 

I hold my breath and ask him while Jim looks at the window as if im gonna let him break them to get in.

"Do you have a key?" I say hopefully. he seems disappointed in himself.

"No... I'm sorry!" I shake my head.

"I could have sworn I had one..." I zip my bag back up.

"Welp. we're stranded" Jim gives up. Edward suddenly perks up. he leans forward, nudging past Jim and next to me, he puts his Scissor to the lock and wiggles it and after a second it's open. 

"Woah," I say, genuinely surprised. "Thanks." He beams

"Ed! what a guy! Good Job- you didn't break it or scratch it or anything... Hey- be a pal and yell when Peg pulls in." Edward scowls slightly and Jim laughs nervously.
